ServaRica The good, the average, the bad.
Honest review:
I needed a server for my Jellyfin media center, but there were no good deals, so they posted this post on the LET for deals. I ended up choosing this one:
Chimera Hybrid Plan 1 2 Cores Shared 4GB 90GB NVMe 2TB $5/m
The good:
I read some reviews from current and former customers, so I decided to take a look. They have a refund policy (I think for 1 week), which allowed me to test the services. Performance is good; most services run well, considering the specs. Here's a Yabs:
It has this status page: https://clients.servarica.com/serverstatus.php, but I don't know of any better options for monitoring the infrastructure.
The average:
The processors aren't the most powerful, but there's a certain "balance" between what you pay and what you get.
It would be a good idea to upgrade things; 2.5 GBPS - 10 GBPS networks would be ideal. However, 1 GBPS remains there.
The downside:
So far, I don't have much to say; there haven't been any service outages. I'll edit this if anything bad comes up that you should know about.
But it's suggested to upgrade things.

It's storage, Gold is more than enough with generous ram and nvme storage.
10gbps is becoming mainstream but 1gbps is hardly inadequate. Real speeds vary depending on location.
If the storage is good, the additional SSD for the system is great. So far, so good.
