Cheapest VPS I can buy (Yearly) for a student.
So I am a student and I don't earn, I need a cheapest VPS I could buy like under 7$/year, can anyone suggest me where I could find one. I host my website and my personal VPN on vps and sometimes my projects and assignments.

You can get a free VPS via Microsoft Azure as a student, if you want to pay nothing.
I am fine to buy as long as its within my budget, so I was using aws free tier server before but AWS blocks some of the things I use on my VPS. that's why I don't want to use any big cloud provider like AWS, Azure or GCP.
Also after my free trial ended, I didn't notice so it kept running and the bill for 15 days was 8$ which I thankfully cancelled by talking to the support
How about this Deal In Houston,Texas
1 CPU Cores (Intel Xeon) Fair Usage
1 GB RAM
10 Gb SSD Disk Space
1 TB Bandwidth @10Gbps
1 IPV4
10.30$/Year
the deal is nice, but I cant pay for it right now. Its outside my budget.
Increase your budget to $10, and there are quite a few options
https://serverdeals.cc/category/kvm-15 (some links are aff)
anything near 10$ is costing 12$+ after taxes
I'm guessing you just checked rarecloud and said that
Providers like Racknerd etc don't have any additional taxes, and even for rarecloud, there are no taxes if you are out of Europe.
Good luck in your search.
yeah I tried LEB EXCLUSIVE in racknerd so when paying its going 12$+ because of GST in india.
https://lowend-deals.xbit.win/#ovz you can try gullos hosting by I recommend saving up for better like https://lowendbox.com/blog/1-vps-1-usd-vps-per-month/
You can pay using stripe or crypto, I think only PayPal has extra taxes as they're using a 3rd party. Maybe @dustinc can confirm it.
I see the same amount
~$10.98
Get a NAT which is cheaper, @AK_KWH sure have some deal
If you can’t pay, be active here and you’ll be eligible for many of the free VPS programs for members. See my signature for one such program. Or explain your use case with some GitHub link or whatever, and someone might even gift you a server. Or participate in the giveaway raffles in many of the sales threads.
Oracle Cloud's free tier is what I'd get, mine has been running for free for years without major incidents.
oh,can i ask for one piece
to host my small project
work for some money or lurk here for giveaways
i heard they randomly kick you off.
Unfortunately I don’t run any such programs.
It's probably not random, but yeah, I know a few people that had it happen to them. Support's response was to open a new account.
Sorry man, but you're gonna have to save more until you can get what you want. That whole '$7/year deal' meme thing is super hard to find these days. The current normal price is around $10-14 per year.
Have you thought about Cloudflare tunneling? I know some friends who used that to get their sites out to the internet. Or maybe something like Ngrok. If your site's static, there's always GitHub Pages.
For a VPN, you'll find plenty of resellers who will do it cheap. They might not be totally legit, but with your budget, you really can't be picky. So, either save up, or just grab whatever you can find. Some people might be able to offer to host your site for dirt cheap or even free, but that's usually not the case for a VPN.
If you don’t need a dedicated IPv4, you can often find NAT VPS in that price range (these often have dedicated IPv6 and a shared IPv4 - with some dedicated ports).
You might want to let us know what exactly you want to use on the VPS - maybe other providers will also block these things or get upset when they find out.
I had them bill me for always free resources
IDK why.
Hello,
We can help you with a Ryzen 7950x VPS in Poland for $12.00/year.
1 vCPU Cores
512 MB RAM
10 GB NVMe
1 TB Bandwidth
Virtfusion Panel
You shouldn't be. You will never have as much free time as you are now, ever again, get a temp job, multiple ones, outside of your chosen field as well.
I wasn't planning to reply to this thread but then I just remembered I bought my first VPS when I was 12 or 13 (previously only using free shared hosting).
I did some freelance and part-time jobs to earn enough to get my first VPS, latency sucks but it works. I envy that there's so many resources available for students nowadays, if you are picky then just go and earn your own money to afford the VPS.
You know, it often makes a mixed impression when a user's first post is like this one
Forget $7/year -- forget it. You need to increase your budget
As others have said, there are some free VPS options, but they first require some significant forum activity/investment on the part of the user who is seeking a free VPS
