Are there plans to connect to more Tier 1 ISPs? At present, connectivity in some regions is not very good. If I could connect to DE-CIX, the situation would improve for me.

This is a very clever deal from @ComputeBox They have arranged the parameters in a very specific manner which does give balance.

But if I compare it to launcher promo, then the price to value ratio of the package will dwell depending on what need you have

    The launcher had

    • 3 core
    • 6 GB RAM
    • 50 GB storage
    • 2 TB bandwidth

    Sumer deal:

    • 4 core
    • 10 GB ram
    • 150 GB storage
    • 3 TB bandwidth

So... specifically for CPU hungry app, the price value of launcher carries more impact than the summer deal since for Non EU customer. the price for launcher is 4.45 euro while summer deal is coming at 7.55 euro. The extra core wouldn't carry much weight since you will have to keep the usage under 60% most of the time by throttling the CPU(s).

For any other purpose, Summer deal is something that fits perfectly. As I have said earlier, till now, under 10 euro per month packages, the only players that could beat computebox turin is @berohost and @lnx (both running 9950x)

So my question to @ComputeBox, for Non EU customers, will the vat be reduce from the 7.55 euro to make it around 6.20 euro or, the VAT is added on top of 7.55 euro?

vat for non-eu comes on top!

the “vat trick” is disadvantageous for german citizens or people like me who are subject to vat and is more of a trick... correct!

Approximately 90% of our sales over the past three months have come from non-EU customers. For this reason, we’ve decided to proceed with net pricing for this deal

Strange. I conducted a traceroute and found that my ISP connected to the server through London.

    what root account?

Decent performance, but unfortunately too little bandwidth

We understand your concern, but there are absolutely no limitations. You still have full root access at any time—you just can’t log in directly as root for security reasons. You can easily switch to the root user using su or sudo whenever needed.

  • @ComputeBox sudo cannot use SFTP as root account

That’s correct—by default, root login over SFTP is disabled for security reasons. However, you can easily enable root login yourself (not recommended), or simply create an SFTP user with root privileges. Both options are possible depending on your needs.

  • @ComputeBox I just need convenience, if the product comes to me and I have to install too many things, it will be very time consuming.

I think you shouldn't then be buying VPS'es and should be buying hosting (managed) services if creating user and/or re-enabling root is "install too many things" (WTF IS TO INSTALL?).

Just say that you have no idea what you are doing and chatGPT couldn't help you.

  • @ComputeBox is neger a customer of yours? if so... have fun.

    Hi

I would really like to try your hosting, but when checking your website I see no way to contact you. The only place that says "contact sales" is a simple text that leads nowhere..
    How to trust?

I don’t know on what side you are, we don’t have a „contact sales“ text on our webpage.
You can find our contact data in our imprint. As a registered user you can also create a ticket with all your questions.

  • @ComputeBox When creating tickets on your site, click on the type will encounter the browser console error
