  • The good old 2TB "fair use" lmao. You guys really havent improved.

  • Can I get 4 TB monthly BW with no-DDOS protection instead of 2 TB DDos protection? My idler doesn't need DDOS protect.

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, we can’t simply “turn off” DDoS protection on a per-server basis, our mitigation layer is integrated at the network edge to protect the entire rack and upstream infrastructure, and disabling it for one box would expose other customers to risk and violate our carrier agreements.

However, we’re happy to offer you 4 TB of monthly BW at no extra charge, with DDoS protection still in place. If you’d like to take advantage of this, just reply with your order number or open a ticket and we’ll apply the extra bandwidth to your account right away.

  • Double RAM and broadband,Just like the Christmas promotion that year?

I use roughly 100TB a month at home (legitimate reason). I'm sure you won't allow me to do that in your network :joy:. Don't you think 2TB base bandwidth "Fair-use" is a bit stupid nowadays? I get that DDoS protection can be expensive, but tbh a big chunk of your user base likely doesn't and won't ever get hit by any attack. Just offer DDoS-protected transit as an add-on.

I was actually stoked when they were doing their initial launch but when I saw the bandwidth it was a huge disappointment. I asked over support and they said said they wouldn't do more than additional 1-2TB.

    • In my experience, you add 1TB and then charge €5 for each additional TB.

I use around ~60-70TB per month running 2 Tor middle/guard relays. What's your usecase for 100TB/m?
