SalmonCloud deadpools
Just received this email for my Hong Kong instance with SalmonCloud. @SalmonBrandon, best of luck in the future.
Dear Customers,
It is with deep regret that we announce SalmonCloud Ltd will be ceasing all operations at the end of this month, on 31st July 2025.
This decision has not been made lightly. Despite our team’s dedication and efforts, we have continued to operate at a loss, and unfortunately, our available funding has now been exhausted. We are no longer in a position to sustain the infrastructure and services that we have worked hard to build and maintain.
If you currently have active services with us that extend beyond 31st July 2025, we ask that you please open a support ticket to request a refund. Refunds will be prorated based on the remaining time left in your billing cycle beyond this date. If your payment was made in cryptocurrency, we encourage you to provide other alternatives to receive a refund. If the refund must be issued in cryptocurrency, please include a USDT TRC-20 wallet address in your ticket. Please note we can only issue cryptocurrency refunds to USDT TRC-20 wallets and the transaction fees incurred will be deducted from the refund.
If you do not request a refund for services extending beyond 31st July 2025, we will continue to keep your services (such as VPS instances) online until the end of this month. After that, your services will be terminated, and a prorated refund will be issued automatically. Please note, however, that if your payment was made in cryptocurrency, we cannot automatically issue a refund without knowing your wallet address.
We know this is disappointing news. Running SalmonCloud has been a journey filled with challenges, growth, and—most importantly—trust from you, our customers. Your support, feedback, and loyalty over the years have meant the world to us. We are sincerely grateful for every one of you who chose SalmonCloud to power your projects, businesses, and ideas.
If you have any questions or need assistance during this transition, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
With heartfelt thanks,
The SalmonCloud Team

You. Isn't there some amusing rant thread you need to get closed?
Why don't we just open our own LET drama thread and start bashing each other
Aaand thread got rubenized…
R.I.P.
Yeah, they produce even rubber coated fishing lures nowadays to better catch the salmon.
effort and i'm not great with commitment
I think this years it's not the only deadpool provider... the end is nigh
Not entirely true. Sometimes they offer them to buy time to loot their paypal account before the chargebacks hit.
Salmon plans are monthly.
Our renewal is on 25th and we just canceled the PayPal billing agreement.
wait, I have a server that expires 1st of August
should I even bother asking? lol
Nitpicking? It's a little fishy to have a main menu on a professional website with a huge typo. I tried to look up to see if Benck (Benckmark) was a type of salmon or something and was disappointed.
Yes, a dime refunded is a dime saved.
They just announced undeadpooling, but there's no promise on keeping the same price.
Thus, cancel and refund while you still can.
[SalmonCloud Announcement] We're Staying Online
SalmonCloud Ltd
Dear Customer,
We’re writing to share an unexpected update following our announcement earlier today about the planned closure of SalmonCloud Ltd.
Shortly after our message went out, a friend of one of our valued customers came forward to offer financial support — a gesture that completely changed the outlook for our company. Because of their generosity and belief in what we do, SalmonCloud will now continue its operations beyond 31st July 2025.
We know today has been a roller coaster ride. To hear that a service you rely on is closing, only to hear hours later that it’s not, is understandably disorienting — and for that, we are truly sorry. We deeply regret any disruption or confusion the earlier announcement may have caused.
Please know that the decision to shut down was never taken lightly. It came from a place of financial necessity, and we were genuinely heartbroken to share it. But thanks to this incredible support, we now have a new path forward — and we’re committed to using this opportunity to strengthen SalmonCloud for you, our community.
Here’s what happens next:
If you have already opened a ticket regarding a refund, we will respond personally to confirm the change and ensure no action is taken unless you request it.
This new support may involve changes to our financial structure, which we’re currently working through. While the specifics are still being finalised, please rest assured that our focus remains on maintaining stable, reliable service for you.
We are profoundly grateful to everyone who has stood by us, especially during the uncertainty of today. Your patience, loyalty, and trust mean everything to us — and we don’t take that lightly. Also, we want to say a very special thank you to this customer and their friend for enabling us to continue our operations.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re not going anywhere.
With warmest regards and renewed commitment,
The SalmonCloud Team
