Now I understand what you meant, thanks JabJab. It's a realistic price that you can actually get (and many of our customers prefer yearly). Plus, it clearly says "from" $1.49/mo AND that price doesn't even include the 15% LET discount.
I think there are acceptable ways to present a product, as long as what the customer pays what they see. I won't name names, but there are big-name providers who overdo it: They might advertise a very low spec, sweaty, overprovisioned VM, on a 3 year plan, a setup fee, and basic features as upsells. Oh, and not to mention those who bury pricing surprises in the ToS. We're not trying to do that... yet we still have to compete with them.
