Seeking provider that takes client communication security seriously.

Following my recent post seeking providers that take their website design and server management seriously I am now seeking a provider that also takes client communication confidentiality seriously.

Requirements for this is simple a provider should support PGP encryption through all available channels of communication (not just email) this would make up for the fact that some providers choose to do support over unencrypted messengers like Telegram, bonus points for providers providing support channels through decentralized messengers like XMPP or Matrix, negative points for not clearly giving the user these options on your website (having to use unencrypted methods to establish an encrypted communication channel)

This is all, PGP is not strictly needed if all communication channels are encrypted like support over XMPP with OTR or OMEMO, matrix, signal, threema.

You could check us out (https://terabit.io/). We have lots of crypto-only clients who get support over Signal (in a group chat w/ all our staff). Feel free to DM me to discuss.

  • If you have a list of all hosting providers you're interested in, you can look for published PGP keys on the keyservers for their domains, as well as looking up WKD keys.

We've got a few that prefer PGP email communication. Otherwise, a handful also ping me on Signal.

We also require no KYC, process crypto in house, and don't stuff our site with analytics and chatbots.

We have signal as an option :) We don't advertise it yet - our non-WHMCS custom website that will meet 99.99% of what you mentioned in last thread and also in this one is still being built - once it's done - we'd be matching all of your criteria from both posts. Plus - you can just PM here to get the Signal number - no need to go through "insecure" other methods first.

Most likely - from my experience, you don't usually get too many abuse reports or complaints out of them.

Usually they use the VM itself as a Wireguard-based VPN for some truly anonymous surfing (as they control the logs and aren't paying some VPN company with their real identity attached anyways), probably using that for at most torrenting - but usually just their daily go-to for keeping themselves safe online from people snooping and connecting them to all their accounts to their real-home-IP.

Sometimes they also do host some maybe political or otherwise biased stuff - like a blog on it (usually behind cloudflare anyways - so less issues for host). Sometimes they host backups of family pictures and things that they don't want to be specifically tied to their identity. Think this - they are backing up family photos - there's a picture of their son or daughter in the bath tub (common thing believe it or not) - if they are on some big hosting provider with their entire identity attached, there goes the NO EXPLAINING - BAN + POLICE AT THE DOOR. Whereas with a host like this, most likely the host isn't scanning their files all day and caring about it unless it somehow ends up public and gets abuse complaints - in which case the worst that can happen is host a - takes it down, and b - notifies them what happened and asks for explanation.

And lastly - I've found a lot of them just want to host tor relays, i2p relays, or even just to run hidden services on those networks and don't want their relays and hidden services tying back to themselves somehow in-case a vulnerability later is ever found to expose the host IP behind one of those services.

Not normally as shady as you'd think - mostly just trying to be private and prevent themselves being tracked, data sold to brokers, and keep their online life separate as much as possible.

Yes, we can do this over XMPP, no issue whatsoever: [email protected] <3

Also, IRL is also fine if necessary (depending on the location) and so are phone calls.

I am curious to know what phone the OP is using. Both Android, iOS or any other systems log all activities, so in this instance, it is unnecessary to overly concern about privacy.

Well its not to hard to see where your coming from in this dystopia we live in where people have been boiled like the frog thus having come to accept complete and total, obligatory surveillance "for your own security".
