Hostslick Team support is absolutely awful !!!!!!
Last November, due to my own mistake
I accidentally made two payments to HOSTSLICK via PayPal to renew my service
About a month later
I noticed the duplicate charge and submitted a ticket to HOSTSLICK explaining the situation in detail.

They replied saying the issue would be resolved within 3–7 business days
Since the amount wasn’t large, I didn’t follow up too closely. But months passed and I never received a refund.
Worse, the original ticket was completely deleted. Thankfully, I had kept the email records.

I considered opening a PayPal dispute, but chose not to — still hoping to resolve it directly with HOSTSLICK.
Unfortunately, to this day, I haven’t received any refund, and all replies to my new ticket have been vague and repetitive, simply telling me to
"wait." "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait"

Now the PayPal dispute window has expired, and tickets lead nowhere.
At this point, is my only option to just keep waiting?

HOSTS LICK
Your licking has been doubled.
At least they still answer tickets within a month unlike that premium free speech provider
This was a double post but im leaving it because I still stand by the message my post conveys
Listen.. regardless of the company.. why didn't you open a PayPal dispute months ago? Lets be real this is one of the exact reason dispute processes are made. If I'm reading this right you've been waiting for 8 months? Your money is gone brother.
Send me your PayPal I'll send you $8 out of my pocket. (this is like 7 McDonalds iced americanos)
@HostSlick wtf did you get an employee?
Wouldn't refunding you in full actually cost them money (in addition to the time spent on the ticket)? Why not just use the payment for this year's renewal?
Because as a community we made everyone believe that a paypal dispute was inherently bad and could be only used to hurt / take revenge on a provider.
I'm glad you clarified how many McDonalds iced americanos you could've gotten with that.
I'd like to chip in an additional $8 from MikeA's wallet to bring his donation upto a total of $16 (this is like 14 Mcdonalds iced americanos)
Would you send iced americanos to everyone who ask for it?
Invoice number: #12369420
Please double donation from MikeA's wallet
Thank!
The main reason I didn’t follow up in time was because the amount involved wasn’t very large. Also, I hesitated to open a PayPal dispute because I was worried it might negatively affect Hostslick. So in the end, I still didn’t file one — and now things have come to this… I honestly don’t know what else to do.
By the way, thank you so much for your kindness!
Is there any chance I could get a custom $7/year VPS ?
I’d even be happy to pay for it twice — Sooooo $14/year ?????? haha! 😄
It might actually be 15 if his original estimate was really 7.5 rounded down since McDonald's wouldn't give you the half. Thanks for making it a whole number, you're a peach.
Oh god you just opened pandora's box with that sentence
It takes 5 seconds to click the refund button in the billing software
Alright buddy just for you
I did consider asking to apply the amount toward renewing my service, but it seems I never had the opportunity to discuss it — all the ticket replies were just overwhelming waves of "please wait, wait, and wait."
Ask refund from LET admins for the double post
WWHAAAT????? mate ricks am I seeing this right confirm and pin it
Because if he opens a PayPal dispute he would lose both of his servers even though he wants refund for the extra payment
You're right I didn't think about it that he might want to keep the server despite waiting 8 months for support.
I wasn't mistreated by @HostSlick but this thread has created some feelings I'm uncomfortable with and a custom $7 or $14/yr vps would go far to help.
Another example of @HostSlick for being a dead horse. Even though he keeps refusing his company isn’t. Can’t even handle double charge case in time.
But people licks his ass whenever he offers some crazy cheap storage deals
Please you help to me
But the deal was too hard to refuse, even thou the server is down for a month bcs support is slow asf
Sir did you get stuck inside an egg again?
Are asking will help can hope?
Sir please drop your pants, bend over and cough
@barbaros
I honestly wouldn't have minded if Hostslick had suspended my server over a PayPal dispute — even though it was the "Bang for your Buck - AMD EPYC 7402P Summer Deal I". As I mentioned earlier, the real reason I didn’t open a dispute was simply because the amount was small.
And the reason I’m posting this today is because @nouman8 brought back the memory.
I get your point. What I meant was like, if you have X amount of server from a provider and if you chargeback even for one of them, they usually cancel your all servers and don’t keep you as their customer anymore. I’m not going to argue about this but if you want to keep using a service of a provider, doing chargeback is the worst idea, if you don’t want to be their customer ever again ofcourse
@barbaros
Yes, absolutely correct.
The dead memories are attacking me, hahhhhhh.
