    Notice @Servitro has no time to give good support and some big issue with rDNS...

    @Servitro

    Just wondering whether one of the AMD EPYC 7443P CPU servers -- perhaps server 7756 ? -- had a network issue early today (UTC)

    This morning, my monitor said that my VPS (AMD EPYC 7443P) was unreachable for 1 hr 56 min

    What is the issue with rDNS?

    (For my VPS, rDNS works)

    We previously used Bunny.net for RDNS management, but they no longer allow adding new IPv4 subnets. Currently, we’re using ClouDNS, but it occasionally throws random errors that are beyond our control.

    Hey, we performed a disk upgrade on the node a few days ago. However, for some reason, VirtFusion paused a few VPS instances during the process. Our team identified the issue and resolved it promptly.

    It seems like Bunny.net has now allowed the addition of more IPv4 subnets, so the RDNS issue should no longer occur.

    Can IPv6 RDNS be handled by ticket?

    Look brother.i think u should prioritize a solution for the disk read errors that are occurring in the windows server.its really important for the long term integrity and continuity of the servers maybe introduce an ssd option for us to use since cpu is the main concern for most people i think ssd will be fine with this price

  • This is an honest advice.i am sure i cant be the only one with 2 vps having this issue if both of them are having the same issue there must be other people also

    Hey, from what we’ve found, the issue is due to insufficient disk space on your VPS. The host node currently has over 4TB of free space.

    Bro vps has over 26 gb free space during the test i have the screenshots about it aswell.its not related to space

  • Also we tried with a fresh windows install multiple times bro if space was 2-3gb even then it should not occur but then we could say that but i have been trying fresh installs normally 50gb is more then enough i have never had this issue before.the chkdsk read error is for sectors its unable to find free good sectors to replace the bad once that's the error.its not about the space please try to understand this issue otherwise it wont be resolve.that's what chkdsk is for.

    The issue itself is not about the space because 50gb is more then sufficient for even windows server 2025.for basic usecase it should be fine.also chkdsk checks for sectors.bad sectors need good sectors for replacement and chkdsk failed to replace them so try to understand that's why i have been testing the vps due to numerous bsods i have been facing and i had found the root cause 2 weeks back.can u please fix this?because ur cpu is really good also i would not mind having SSD rather then nvme as long as there are no more errors ill be happy with it.

    My vps did restart too u maybe on point here diskgenius did shows some bad sectors.i thought this was due to windows update or something like that but i have disabled them already and it still happened 2-3 times since last few days
