Panel & Language Support
Right now, our panel frontend is primarily in German – but:
- You can set English as your preferred panel language in your profile.
- Our homepage and frontend translation will follow in the near future.
- We're currently focused on the DACH + EU market, but worldwide support is absolutely welcome.
- Due to limitations of the current CMS powering our platform, full frontend multilingual support is not yet possible, but it’s on our roadmap as we continue to expand.

Dmca ignored?
Qytra is based in Germany and follows GDPR and local laws.
We're not under DMCA, but legit copyright claims are handled properly.
We're not a "DMCA ignored" host – and we don't tolerate abuse either.
Using namecrane, without any issue. Not sure what my client hosts. But i also don't allow illegal things.
As far as i know, its movie & adult sites
Overpriced dedicated servers with 10g port and only 10TB BW

And skylink
As long as the content is legal under German/EU law and doesn't violate copyright (e.g. pirated movies), it's fine.
Adult content is generally okay – as long as it's compliant and doesn't trigger abuse reports.
The SkyLink DC has proven to be extremely unreliable in the past months, with patterns of frequent and unpredictable connectivity drops. You may search this forum to find out the evidence, but the bottom line is that as soon as SkyLink is mentioned some people, myself included, will give a hard pass to your offer, no matter how good or how cheap the servers are.
Understandable, but just to add: not all “SkyLink” setups are created equal. During the last dark fiber issue or any others, we didn’t see any packet loss — PletX rerouted cleanly. So it’s not always fair to generalize.
Also, the price reflects the location — you get what you pay for. If you’re paying budget rates, you’re not getting an enterprise-grade IX-rich Tier 1 colo.
That said, our gaming customers at gameserver.gratis are extremely sensitive to latency and network issues — and over the past years, we’ve only kept what consistently met those high standards.

Any relation to ProHosting24?
Twitter nonexistent btw.
Yep, Ben (my boyfriend) is the one behind Qytra. He’s running the show over there.
Any Looking Glass?
Not yet, but I will set one up tomorrow.
You can now test at https://lg.qytra.de
Apparently you are not paying the enough money to get VIP connection from Skylink
and same thing after 50 pings
We primarily serve customers in Europe, and they’re very satisfied with the low latency across the region. Our SkyLink location is connected via a dark fiber ring to Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Amsterdam. Nearly all of the reported packet loss is simply due to dropped ping packets, not actual connectivity issues. We use PletX — currently one of the most effective and well-known DDoS protection systems in Europe, based on asymmetric real-time filtering: https://pletx.net/en
Feel free to use our looking glass to get accurate results.
You have quite decent latencys to north america and more
hi, would u mind telling me what site this is 😅?
ping.pe
Ever used that but totally forgot name of the website 😆

As you can also clearly see in my screenshot, ICMP packets are being dropped simultaneously — this is expected behavior due to filtering. For meaningful and accurate latency and routing results, we recommend using our Looking Glass instead.
@zGato any expert opinion here?
I've added a few checks on my monitor stack, let's see how it goes. But doesn't really look good. SkyLink and inter.link are not "premium" transit providers, at all.
Adding it to your monitoring stack won’t really prove much — other than raw latency.
ICMP packets are heavily rate-limited by our DDoS protection, so packet loss you’ll see is artificial.
For meaningful insights, please use our Looking Glass or TCP-based tests.
That said, you realistically can’t expect premium-tier transit at this price point — and that’s not the goal either.
What we offer is more than perfect for our customers across Europe and North America, especially in the gaming segment where low-latency and routing quality matter most.
I'm not saying that this applies to you, but skylink is anything but a premium data center, and some providers there have problems with connectivity.
How old is Ben, because it is not him but a woman who is listed as the managing director. Is that his mother?
Did you just assume Ben's gender?
Yes
I'm 21, actually. When I started my 3-year apprenticeship in Germany as a system administrator, I wasn’t allowed to run a company due to company policy. I successfully completed the apprenticeship three months ago, and I’ll officially take over the company soon — it’s just a formality at this point.
I’ve been running gameserver.gratis for over five years now, and recently started Qytra as a new dedicated server brand.
It's not that uncommon in Germany to start this kind of business at a younger age and place a parent at the position of a ceo. I wish you continued success with your company
