    not in my experience, I'm running 2.5g on mine, it runs pretty smooth locally.

    Also, RAID? If so, what type? Your website says:

    2TB space with 4TB bandwidth means conscious bandwidth budgeting. Ideally, more bandwidth for 2TB.
