I haven't read all the replies, but I'm NGL, OP to me seems like a bit of a diva with strong ex-gf energy. I rent a bunch of metered 10Gbit servers from Leaseweb resellers and I was strongly considering contacting but I feel like support could be a nightmare with the level of entitlement I'm sensing.
Rules often seem "stupid" to those who are inconvenienced by them, but in this case the rule is so straightforward as well. Even if the thread was removed, OP could've just apologized for missing the rule, asked for permission and had their thread reinstated.

@Verasel I am not picking points here but using your logic, I go to an ATM every day and take out $50 and do for a while, at some point should the ATM no longer request the pin or app verification to withdraw the funds because it is a regular process ?
If it important to treat everyone the same, sometimes people have different interpretations of rules or differences of opinions on people. I know there are certain users and admin's who have a dislike for me but I do the right thing and keep out of their path and hopefully they do the same, it avoids the drama.
I agree if you have an issue raise a ticket, document your issues clearly and in a calm manner, and explain what your desired outcome of the situation will be.
If you feel the person concerned will be reviewing the ticket, ask in the ticket for an independent person who can just look at facts and not the drama.
I have issues with certain people and providers here, they might try to draw you into drama but just let them be, it is their time they waste posting and if you fail to rise to it, you do not feed their ego of feeling important.

Listen I genuinely enjoyed @Arkas and I'd love to see him come back but he's not really cut out to be a moderator (here, I think). Even though @angstrom has some weird fetishes (isn't he the post count guy? what a weird flex) putting him in the same bucket with @Arkas isn't really fair.
Mods are guys just like us, they don't have any angelic (or demonic) powers. Appreciate the help they give and tease them a little about the silly things.

I think giveaways without permission or with intent to upsell aren't the issue (he is a patron provider anyway), but the content of them like domains or servers explicitly stated as 'meant for not-so-legal' purposes. That must be the reason it pissed off those users who flagged the thread and triggered this whole drama. Given the 'LET is whitehat' rule and OP being super generous and nice(which attracts haters), he should probably stick to generic terms like DMCA friendly, DDR4 ignor etc.

When I go to the bar I'll often go outside with my beer, (not allowed), to smoke some weed, (also not allowed).
Mostly the bar staff aren't bothered because they know me, they know I bring my glasses back and they know I always keep the weed discreet, so usually they let it slide without saying anything.
Sometimes they do call me out for it though. Maybe they've had a warning from the authorities about people drinking outside, maybe there's more law enforcement around that night or maybe they just want to be dicks. Who knows?
But whatever the reason, I just have to suck it up and not create a public drama or I'll get myself insta-banned and then no more beers for me. They have their rules and they enforce them arbitrarily for reasons I don't need to understand. That's the end of it. Their bar. Their rules.
Although a quiet apology and a bit of humour with the staff let's me get caught doing the same shit by the same people, regularly, without any consequences. And, better still, I usually get to do what I want without interference because they know I'll quietly comply when I'm asked.
Not a comment on LET moderation. I'm just really looking forward to the weekend...
