    Everyone's feedback is truly greatly appreciated! I am hoping that we will be able to do other things soon, and not just bare metal, even though the prices are appropriate, it's still a bit too much for most. Resources wise, etc. <3

    you basically just send us your wanted specs, and we come back with the best possible offer. just be as detailed as possible, and even what raid, fs, OS, etc. and you get it plug-and-play type of thing, unless you're a nihilist, that loves to install their own stuff. :smiley:

    Not everything is a seedbox. Some people download and archive, instead of seed and delete, so they need space to store without seeding. For example, how low can you go with 10TB@1gbps but with 200TB storage?

    Re-read what I wrote... he is saying that he moves files around (to upload to a filesharing site to make money from downloads), and 99.9% of people who do such things will not invest 175 USD a month in a media archive server. Meaning, he simply wouldn't renew, whether we added the drives or not.... chances of him renewing are just zilch, IMHO... That's my hunch, at least.

    Marking this down, hoping for more budget-friendly server options later on. I've been playing around with private torrent (PT) seed servers lately, and a high-bandwidth, unlimited-speed broadband is exactly what I need. However, the current price of over 100 bucks is beyond my budget. But who knows? Maybe cheaper servers will emerge in the future, like 2.5G or 1G broadband (wishful thinking). :D

    We will have other deals soon, I promise... I will try and make sure we do something like metered, or if we have to, 2GB/s via LACP... which will be more friendly, price wise! So it will be perfect for PT use.

    But, yeah... this is more like for people to test the network out and see if:
    a) It's true 10GB/s
    b) If you can use it in your region properly

    Everything else is easily sorted... since different hardware can be provided easily, and we can provide you with your own ASN and IPv4, etc. Which means that you can effectively run your projects safely and on a normal budget.... not having to pay tens of thousands, and be greeted with all sorts of messages, and then also be meant to "comply" with stupid "notices" from "random" people. When I say that, I mean, obviously, silly copyright agencies...
