Not for Genoa — but there’s 4–5 TB of RAM free on a few Milan nodes. Might be the right moment to push a deal anytime soon

The scheduler is only allowed to schedule machines to nodes that are activeted for scheduling
Disabling all the milan and rome nodes had enabled us to sell machines only on genoa nodes in the beginning of the thread : )
All of those customers that had been fast enough to order in the first couple of days then received a node lock preventing the scheduler to place machines on other nodes then genoa on restart/reinstall after we activated milan nodes again

Let me know if you are interested, i will activate some cloud resource pricing overrides to make it affordable. Kubernetes Control Plane though is always free anyway.
The UI and Backend is custom and enables you to bootstrap and upgrade k8s via a few clicks only. Nodes can be scaled up and down or upgraded easily using the UI too.
With the next update in a couple of days you also get a button in the ui to automatically set up node autoscaling without the need to configure it yourself as well as an access to a grafana dashboard providing detailed metrics for all resources in your k8s cluster for free as well!

Will there be autoscaling rules and limits? Because we all know the stories like people getting a $104k bill from netlify 😢
You could not really run into that kind of issue as you are pretty limited in the amount of resources that you can schedule per default.
With increasing quotas/demand we could implement such a notification or warning system though.
