Kimsufi - how to get refund? ticket unanswered for 1 week..

Hello

has anyone dealt with Kimsufi billing department? I've asked them how to cancel server and get refund 7 days ago, I am yet to get a reply. What to do? I tried going OVH, but for some reason only getting Ovhcloud Canada, I rent some servers from them, so when I try any other OVH site - I am sent to Canadian site.. Can I complain to OVH somehow somewhere about Kimsufi?

I have been Kimsufi's customer for 7-8 years, always prepaid for my multiple servers half a year ahead. I've let go of all servers but 1 in last year, and this last one they had a huge move that took 8hrs, so I was forced to move all my clients' websites and apps to a new server I rented elsewhere, I could not afford an 8hr downtime.. Now I want to cancel server that is prepaid till December (payment sent in April, way before knowing about this move, announced in June). I see no way to cancel server besides lapsing next payment. My only move remains to ask credit card for a chargeback, and that rarely works..

Thanks for reading this.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  • I think OVH merged all their KS and SYS brands to OVH proper. My KS server is hosted and handled by OVH Canada. Open a ticket there and see? They may not let you abort a commitment merely due to downtime though. In that case, you can either try a chargeback (but be ready to lose your OVH account even if you lose the dispute) or service transfer the server to someone else.

I get multiple replies on a day, even on billing tickets.

i guess they see, it's my last server, so i will not continue being their customer, so they don't give a damn anymore.. i've always paid for 6 months ahead for each server i rented, shortest - 4 years, longest - 7-8 years, never so much as a ticket since 2020.. it is just simply extremely frustrating. at this point it's not even refund, i just want simple respect, a simple reply to my ticket from billing dept. tech support replied my 1st ticket (incorrectly placed) ..

...We are moving your ticket to our billing department and they will answer you as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience....

PS there's no "6-months at a time" commitment, i just chose to pay for 6 months at a time.. isn't it right to prorate the prepaid time and refund for unused months? this is just getting silly..

  • They don’t do refunds??

  • msg them on social media (fb)

  • at this point i have no idea if they even do refunds or not. they are simply not replying my tickets.

  • both of my ovh.ca and ovh.us accounts have no record of kimsufi server
i did submit support requests on both accounts
kimsufi facebook link sends to ovh facebook account .. i understand that it's sunday today, billing never works on weekends or holidays, etc and so on.. i did initiate request a week ago, so there was at least 4 normal working days since then to reply..

ps sorry, friends, i don't mean to be rude or pathetic or whatnot.. just really grinds my gears.. i've spent thousands of $$ on their servers over the years, always been an exemplary customer, caused them zero problems, never overused bandwidth or the servers for that matter, never asked for anything..

    Hi!
This worked for me. I got an instant solution for a refund and activated one of my old services from OVH.

    Thank you for your suggestion.
