looks like my VM is down, rip
hoping for a speedy recovery
Once this ddos is managed, I'll let you order and I'll give you a v4 if you want. Just send a pm after order. But.. right now we are managing about 300Gb/s of DDoS throwing us on and offline and we are trying to filter it at over 16 points of ingress atm. Taking some time to get this all filtering properly.
i love you, please dont deadpool
u live A aaa AA avsisp ?
what u love about AA avs isp
i m love unsustainable dealz pls give me dealz i want to impulse buy i have exactly $3 dealz pls
you are back online now. pings will be higher - we've rerouted everything through ddos protected uplinks. our other "ddos protected" links failed us miserably. This one seems to be getting it all.
We will never deadpool LOL
I really am sorry to anyone who tried to order or has ordered already and found a down VM for the last hour or so. We tried to keep it up as much as possible ourselves by filtering and re-routing. But we couldn't do it alone - we had to call in the big guns and now it seems okay.
Don't worry - once the DDoS passes, we will get traffic flowing back to normal routes and pings will return to normal. For now, It needs to be scrubbed.
Sorry - what is unsustainable deals?
I'm sorry for your experience with LET so far. Pretty sure it's the first time I hear about providers getting DDoSed for posting deals.
Hope you'll recover soon.
I like your service so far and I wish you the best
A deal which provider looses money on.
Like $7/y or $3/y in extreme cases.
It usually means pricing where you lose money selling to the customer.
Unsustainable deal = too good to be true
Skhron was DDoSed due to review megathread lol
they always want to silence those who want to give the good dealz
Going to quote this here as it gotta hella off-track and thrown back due to all the drama.
So - I can confirm 100% we are receiving and filtering over 500Gb/s of ddos attacks.
Started as NTP floods. Then it moved to DNS reflection. Then it moved to ICMP. Now they are just attempting I guess pipe saturation?
Thank you to everyone for your support. We will stay online and keep all customers online no matter what. Again - apologies for anyone effected. Our deals are still on - we are back online - and hopefully they eventually get tired.
For anyone interested it's being filtered in several steps now:
1) Tier 1 and IXP DDoS protection
2) Anycasting to spread it out globally (done by an upstream)
3) Being filtered at the upstream of an upstream over multiple 100G links
4) Being filtered at the upstream themselves over multiple 100G links
5) Final drops getting in being filtered by us at our edge (down to less than 1Gb/s leaking in on our 2x 10G pipes)
Again - thank you for your support - and I am really disappointed in whichever hosts think it is a fun game to DDoS competitors like they think it will stop them. We are not deterred by such actions. In fact - it just made us improve our offers to clients. DDoS protection is included. And from now on will have automatic filters to switch-over when a flood is first detected - so we will not have this downtime in the future.
So WHEN are coming really interesting VPS OFFERS for LET under 10€ ? Next YEAR ?

Not always bad though right? It’s some form or advertisement.
Like look how many people brag about their $7 or $3 a year deal and we all wanna know what it’s with. I think that’s pretty solid advertising if it’s discovered years after and even if the deal doesn’t exist anymore.
And I think some expensive unsustainable lifetime sort of deals could be seen as loans to get money and not actually have to pay anyone back, but just have look after a few services for free.
Exotic Charm of Abania! ipv4v2 (
Dude, we had fkn Mumbai for 10€/y + a bunch more
You can find out who right? They are IP bound
They say it is NTP/DNS amplification, so unfortunately it isn't possible for them to identify real source generating traffic, only reflectors IP addresses (vulnurable servers that are abused).
Correct. We identified several IPs as coming from a few hosts here - that doesn't mean that the hosts were involved - it means someone on their network / a client is using their services for some nasty stuff. I won't point the fingers at anyone specifically.
From the ICMP flood portion of it we were able to gather a lot of IPs - most are probably compromised devices in a botnet. The NTP and DNS reflection you can't really track the source IPs - only abusive / non-throttled DNS servers and so on - which will be reported to those running them if we have time to deal with all that.
The moral of the story is - it most likely was done by a competitor here - as we have never experience anything like it until we made offer post here. It started exactly 15 minutes after a post here and targeted our entire subnet - so that means it was carpet bomb directed at us specifically - not a downstream client or VM. But we have no way to know exactly which one did it specifically. It definitely wasn't random and there was nothing else done to cause such an attack except posting an offer here only 15 minutes prior. In the beginning stages before the attack went wild, we did get traffic to our website and port scans from a few host's ranges - more than 1. So it most likely was from one of those 3. But again - not going to point any fingers here - it's filtered - it's under control - avoided in future with active checks and failovers - and hopefully if anything you guys see that we are resilient and won't be taken offline permanently by such childish stuff.
I hope it didn't effect any of our clients too much. Throughout the attack, we switched back and forth over upstreams that supposedly offer DDoS protection (what a joke most are) and outbound traffic never was effected - only inbound as some upstream pipes were overfilled and only to certain places as we were actively up-streaming from several locations globally to minimize impact. The area most effected was USA - where over 80% of the attack was coming from and therefore when we turned on anycasting where 80% of it immediately headed to. So a lot of people in USA were probably not able to access anything for about an hour or so there.
Do I look rich to you
Japan and SG is not our own vps, its from Leaseweb.
So we cant design our own spec.
Still $40/Yearly & $99/Triennially price for 4vCore 6GB RAM 100GB NVMe 10Gbit ( Shared ) is very good.
Currently i find no one has better price than this.
Check Here
for this deal, can i buy it at 40$/year, then if i am satisfied i want to change it to 99$/3 years?
Yes sure, we already buy with 3-year contract from Leaseweb to get low price.
So there is no issue, we can upgrade later if you ask us.
How about NAT or IPv6 only?
Can I blast more than 1 Gbps constantly until the bandwidth runs out? Is it acceptable?
Can I blast more than 1 Gbps constantly until the bandwidth runs out? Is it acceptable?
Thanks for clarification. Will order one if I need more bandwidth in APAC
