Is the discount recurring? If I sign up for the 3 year deal, does it renew on a 3-year basis as well?
Thanks!
yes and yes. You will be paying the same amount every three years.
You know, silly of us — it didn't occur to us to run a sale for today...
there's still lots of time!
You could do a nice $3/yr flash sale.
If I pick one level and say in 3 years I realize I need more, would I be able to increase it and still keep the promotional pricing or is it set at that level forever?
At that level lifetime.
You are absolutely right.
Hold on...
I am frightened at that many support tickets if the host server crashes...
Please make the same for US location

44TB bandwidth in SGP, for $40/yr. Just insane.
In your other locs this is also wild
We have so much bandwidth capacity and minimum bandwidth commitments that we pay for and don't use, that we might as well fill up our uplinks somehow.
We are also trying to increase our bandwidth usage so that we are more eligible for direct peering arrangements with other networks.
Someone said deals?!

Oh, by the way if you load our main site (https://terabit.io/), you're being served directly from our new HTTPS engine. Written in Rust.
Is that a full-blown dedi server for $100/yr??
It's a custom-built solution? HTTP headers seem to imply laravel and php
Daaang (:
Our underlying HTTP engine yes. Our website itself -- no. It's just Laravel + PHP + MariaDB.
Admittedly, the code's a bit of a monolith... but it's been performing fantastically.
wc -l: 32600 totalhello my name is rubben and i approve of this dealz
Laravel (and thus PHP) is probably the backend itself, but the web server in front is custom as implied by this header
server: vectordThat went quick!
Unfortunately, we don't have own hardware in USA currently.
So cant offer deals like this.
