The US region is always the worst regarding pricing.
Check CA, is mostly up to line with EU.
It even is cheaper than the EU most of the time.
how much?
100$ -150$ 🤣
Its better get 19$ server and use it for 18 months , with higher bandwidth,
I recently created a request thread as i was looking for ks-le-c, ks-le-e. But peoples were adking 100$+ so i got ks-c from ovh @ 13 $ , peace of pind,
I can understand offering slightly above the 2x that the rules allow, but that's just ridiculous 😭😭
How much disk and ram you got in that server?
32gb ram , 240gb ssd, only 7k hours , with better cpu 6 c/8t.
240gb disk is ass though can’t get many sisters on that
240 on raid, is not bad, with 6 core cpu and Unmetered 500mbps , for me its worth the $ , and far better then feeding greedy scalpers,
I would say: dick move.
Thank you, Neoon.
I'll take your advice, and bring the next purchase to ca region.
Then you must be a stranger to the ridiculas-land(this is a coined word), where mjjs frequently set prices of transfers like this.
Only if you are not in Canada though.
The money I save per month, I can literally buy another KS for.
Indeed, the same Mystery box costing 22.99 EUR for a EU account only renews at 25.5 USD (~21.7 Euro) for CA account..
Indeed, now imagine, you also have to pay VAT.
So 21.7€ vs 28€ ish.
I've seen it before but I honestly don't know why anyone would ask or even pay those prices. Like sure it's a nice server, but it ain't made out of gold
I am considering it yeah it's not made out of gold but it really depends on what you wanna do with it.
KS-B is really that bad? haha
Do you happen to know what the go is with the commits with OVH these days? In terms of being able to switch to monthly after the commitment period is over.
I remember it being a hassle in the past for annual commits - with the commitment itself renewing and not being reasonably possible to switch to a monthly plan afterwards (either was impossible without re-ordering or it would remove any BFCM discounts entirely iirc). So I've just stuck with monthly since then.
Installed my C and ssh'ed into it.
It felt different, responsive wise.
120GB SSD had afoul write speeds. Like 100MB/s max. 240GB SSD disks were way batter in this department. Maybe that's the reason?
Maybe, didn't Bench the 240GB SSD' yet.
KS-B: INTEL SSDSA2CW120G3
KS-C: INTEL SSDSC2KB240G8
edit: the 120GB is slow as fuck
Yeap, thats what i expect as soon as i saw 120GB sata in the specs. Basically bellow trash speeds.
KS-B back on the plate
Bought one KS-B with two upgrades
SSD 160GB INTEL SSDSC2BB160G4
UP/DOWN 500/1000
How cooked this SSD is?
The SSD is an upgrad yes, however the uplink is not.
KS-C is in stock it seems
Oh right, I bought KS-C not KS-B xd
TBW: 172TB
This is a greaaaaaate deal!
Ks-c out of stock tempted to pay my invoices
Everyone holding invoices since the KSMystery episode
Unfortunately, I don' think these gonna be big.
