    So that's two ssd?

    yes,, 240x2

    Looks like these small kimsufis are slowly improving as they run out of the oldest junk. A bit like the cheapest atoms back in the days.

    i have no ide why i got reminded of

    @Spacedust

    the guy who posted disk types / speed / ages

    and made me spend money on the old atom version

    Does OVH typically upgrade existing servers, such as bandwidth upgrade this time?

    Lier confirmed.

    In relation to our chat, I'd like to inform you that it is not possible to upgrade your servers.
    For both servers, currently ECO server range, the maximum and default public Bandwidth is 1Gbit.

    So:

    • I already have a server with 1Gbps upgrade which is 60 EUR extra per month => They don't give a f*ck, you still have to pay even if 1Gbps is the new standard.
    • I have a server with 500Mbps => No upgrade

    My old server was also included in the last bandwidth upgrade (500Mbit -> 1Gbit)

    We'll see what time brings.
    Maybe I should send some baguettes + frog legs :P

    It’s not the first time they upgrade network on existing server offer, and they just never touch already existing server gonna need to let it expire and reorder

  • octave is a liar no more ks-a, no bandwith upgrades.

    Does anyone know if any of the available/unavailable KS with 6-8 core cpu is available in Poland? or anyone has one for transfer? ;)

  • kajoj2kajoj2 Member

    Currently, KS-7 with 24 cores AMD Epyc 7451 or some Intel with 4 cores are available in Warsaw

    As mentioned before, one of my LIM based KS-LE-B (NVMe / E3-1245 v6) has been sitting idle, quietly questioning its existence: "What’s my purpose?"
    I don’t know man, you’re just idling. Stop asking me existential questions.

    Time for a new home. Drop me a message if interested.

  • Just saw that the KS-6-B is available in rbx. It's advertised with e5-2680v3, 64Gb RAM and 2x480 ssd, no vcrack, for 54.99 euro. Not my thing.

    What a weird config - considerably worse than Rise-S-1 whereas having almost same price tag...

    Hm ok, i guessed its SG, that would justify the price. But not everything must be real as long as its not available on the website.

  • surfcusurfcu Member

    It was advertised as $9.99/month back in April.

    I don't think it's something new.
