I have two servers from them for free to run GlobalPing probes on. They're pretty solid VPSs. I had a small problem with one of the servers at the beginning, but Danny resolved the connection issues quickly. So far i can recommend them.

    awesome thank you!! :)

What happened to your LA2 location?

Hey DK we consolidated for now, but well get that location up and running soon. Did you like that location? We had several of our customer ask about it.

  • Not recommended.

I got a server from them in December and the server mostly behaved ok until dedirock had a RAID issue. After the issue got "resolved" I opened a ticket stating my server wasn't back up and that all my data was gone. After much back and forth they just washed their hand and told me they wouldn't do anything to recover the data because the RAID issue had been resolved and anything else just wasn't their problem as long as the server was booting up. Checking through VNC the server was indeed booting up but not getting past the bootloader because the disk was completely corrupted.

I threatened with writing a bad review but ultimately forgot. More than a month passed and a few days ago I remembered the server and thought I might as well use it for something since I was already charged for it so I went to the admin panel and tried to reinstall the OS thinking that if the server was indeed ok and the RAID issue was resolved, a quick OS installation would bring it back up. Well, after trying many times to reinstall, nothing worked. I opened a new ticket complaining again. This time support had to reprovision it from scratch and even give me a new IP... But no admission of guilt or even hinted at being open to make up for their mistakes.

    TLDR
They will blame you for their problems and wash their hands. Get a better provider with at least some respect for the customer.

Hey Bermudi, thank you man for your honest review. Def not trying to wash my hands anything. We did have a few hiccups that we were able to fix, totally on us. Let me know how I can make it better. But again thanks for your communication on this matter.

Thanks but the time to be proactive about it was when all the data was lost. Unfortunately this experience proved to me I can't really trust dedirock for anything other than experimentation until my service expires.
