Speaking of which, when do you plan to take out @AezaHost's banana from your throat?

Them 3 pedos(@jsg @jenkki @rustelekom ) are trying quite hard to get this derailed. I wonder why.

Have you already lost interest in Aeza and gone into pure politics?

I think the only possible way to enforce this is to very strictly warn anyone posting off-topic because otherwise it’ll just spiral, too much emotion when Russia is mentioned

    You're evidently a primary upstream of AS210644:

    root@sg-oss-use3288S93:~# birdc 'show route primary count where bgp_path ~ [= * 30823 210644 =]'
    BIRD 3.1.2 ready.
198 of 981976 routes for 981976 networks in table master4
0 of 215707 routes for 215707 networks in table master6
Total: 198 of 1197683 routes for 1197683 networks in 2 tables

AS210644 belongs to ORG-AIL64-RIPE/AEZA INTERNATIONAL LTD, and is included in the OFAC Sanctions List. If your "customer" is not Aeza Group LLC, Aeza International, Ltd., or Aeza Logistic LLC, you absolutely need to re-evaluate and tighten your requirements for your BGP filter lists.

But yeah, I agree and will pass it around.

I hope they paid up front, otherwise Aeza has to worry about getting sued by a certain German company.

Jokes aside, glad I didn't renew my VPS with them, when I tried creating hourly servers a few days ago it wasn't possible, maybe related?

Aurologic does not operate in the USA - I don't believe US Sanctions apply at all for him, but it's an act of goodwill I guess.

Aeza definitely has USA servers though. I once got an invoice from Hurricane Electric sent to me, which had Aeza International LTD as its designee and c/o'd to Netiface Limited, with my address and everything, even sent to the main public company admin email address (my HE rep only has my direct email). Not sure what happened there (we don't have any contractual relationship at all with HE) - but it said something on the lines of a 100GbE Flat port in Charlotte. I reached out to Aeza once I got the email, they acknowledged it, promised a reply, but never actually gave two fucks.

Either way, shouldn't Aeza's LET account be banned now? They are sanctioned by the US, and LET/LEB is a US operated business.

The most they'll do is "suspend" the provider tag to show they did the minimum needed or not do anything at all, like with certain other accounts.

I stopped using their services (more than a year ago), when they had problems with accepting international payments. I several times contacted with their support (by email, Telegram) to request a solution, help (or don't cancel my service until they solve the payment issue on their side), but never got any working solution, co-operation. So technically I was not able to renew my services (VPS) with them. This meant to me, they are unreliable, not a serious partners.

Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is designating Aeza Group, a bulletproof hosting (BPH) services provider, for its role in supporting cybercriminal activity targeting victims in the United States and around the world.

Good. Hope they do the other bulletproof hosters, too.

Support cybercrime, do the time get somewhat inconvenienced.

  • IP prices will go down, or Aeza will rise like a Hydra... one or the other, haha.

What would you do about all of the "seemingly" US based telcos that are total and absolute Chinese-intelligence fronts with private peerings to all sorts of US and International tech companies? But, yeah... Probably something to think about... on another day... Maybe, tomorrow.

Meethinks.. there are bigger issues in the backyard. Literally.

Could be wrong, could be wrong...

So how long before this is being used to combat "copyright infringement" around the world?

@DP please do not spare some warnings. Trolls does not care about staying on topic. There is a thread for vatniks and they should go there to spill their propaganda.

So, aeza goes foot on foot with the.hosting ?

In a not so related discussion also involving @jh_aurologic I have made a cheeky comment about them serving Aeza.. IMHO, kind of interesting how much this was flying under the radar.

As an EU citizen, I'm very well aware of that. I was mostly referring to the fact that either their statement our customer which is not Aeza is a lie or their process to verify eBGP/BYOASN customers is completely flawed and needs urgent attention and re-evaluation.

For those who are aeza users, use this for the billing panel as they mentioned it on their telegram channel https://my-aeza.net

bulletproof hosters never die, they just fade away into another dubious commercial entity.
