At my parent's place in the middle of nowhere. If something breaks, outside of basic things I could ask my mom to try, I'd have to drive a full day (one way) to get there.

i have access to a vps in Turkmenistan. To get one it's required to personally go to the provider's office, be a registered individual entrepreneur and have documents which say that last 3 generations of your family weren't criminals. it's a necessity for me because i administer a website for turkmenistan and most foreign hostings/cdns are banned there (i was using gcore cdn before, but they banned their ips and also banned my domain name, it's almost impossible to get it unbanned so i had to buy a new domain and switch to local vps). the vps has the same stupid internet censorship as home internet in turkmenistan, it means that almost everything is blocked (e.g. docker is fully blocked, let's encrypt is partially blocked and i can only renew certs but not issue new ones, some apt packages like openvpn are also blocked by http dpi), im working on it from another country and my ip was banned from accessing the vps multiple times, it's a pain to work with and there is a chance of losing it permanently if they suspect anything (they hate vpn servers for example)

it"s like the hell or it"s the hell. why do you do it in Turkmenistan? go to a more free country.
