  • What’s the point of buying it from you if people can buy it from OVH directly? Am I missing something?

Usually the point of service transfers is to move around products that are no longer available for sale.

Or availability. Sometimes they are available, sometimes they're not...

They included the setup fee in their asking price, though they did discount it by 9 euros. Whether that is worth someone going with a third party vs direct with OVH is up to the buyer I guess.

Also - doesn’t EU OVH allow refunds in 14 days without questions due to EU law?

Not to businesses. That EU law is for private persons only.
PS: I believe @FlorinMarian is willing to transfer out the box (aka in your direct ownership with OVH), not to resell (sub-lease) it to you.

At the time of posting there was no other KS-5 server in Germany available but that's not the point.
The big advantage in buying from me comes from the 9 euro discount (excluding VAT) and if we added the 19% VAT that I would have paid in my own name it would have resulted in a discount of even 17 Euro.
I don't think 9/17 Euro is an amount that the LET community ignores when the most common expression is "7$ a year"

What made you assume they were on 10g 😂

The KS-2 that I recently bought and which also has 10G inbound.
I was hoping that the KS-5 would only have 10G inbound too but apparently luck is expensive
