The EPYC or G Myster is holy.
No way you gonna let it go for cheap fuckery.
There is no setup fee on KS-B and KS-C anyway.
Only for a commitment of 3 months or more
Here this is what I mean.
This is how it should look like.
This is how my old invoice looks like:
The Setup is just gone, same script, no commit.
I still got some first RISE-S that I want to get rid off / upgrade. Someone on the OVH discord mentioned some 9900X. Do you guys here know anything about these configurations?
I saw that KS-B and KS-C don’t have setup fees anymore…
They still, if you don't commit for 3 months or longer.
how could this happen?
tried a few times, but no way.
I have no fucking idea, I just checked my orders and was like, why are they less now.
My KS-C invoice also got their setup removed, paid that one.
can you share your scripts, thank you.
My script has nothing to do with that invoice bug.
OVH for some reason removed the setup fee, from that invoice on the 25th.
I checked the 2 invoices for KS-Bs I've made a few days ago for my test, and they have the setup fee. I tried to make an invoice just now and it also has the setup fee. Perhaps it's a bug in your subsidiary (how could that be??).
Interestingly (well, in a way), in your invoice "Installation" section, ssd says SSD 1x130GB.
In my invoices it's the correct 1x120GB.
Probably because you went to a commitment of 12 months than the setup get waved
120 and 130 at the same page.
strange ovh ordering system.
could be a bug?
Perhaps they published a buggy catalog and he managed to order just at that time before they corrected the catalog, who knows.
I replaced my KS-LE-B, that I used for recording surveillance cameras with frigate.video, with a small Dell.
The main advantage of this swap is that I now have a graphics card, since the KS-LE-B didn't have one, as it came with an E3-1270V6.
On the other hand, the disadvantage is that my new equipment only has 500 GB of storage, while the KS-LE-B had two 1.2 TB NVMe drives.
I'm satisfied with my acquisition, but at the same time, I feel a certain anxiety because I now have an idle KS-LE-B that costs me 10 euros per month.
I can't bring myself to get rid of it because I always think I might need it in the future, although I'm not sure what for (I welcome suggestions).
One possibility is for me to run YABS every hour, like many KS owners do, or perhaps let someone else do it for me.
My Suggestion: Transfer to me
I m looking for ks-le- C, E, 1 , if anyone willing to let it go then dm me ,
I am looking for a KS-LE-C with 64GB of memory and a mysterious box with 128GB of memory. If you happen to need a transfer, please contact me.
I am looking for a KS1 Atom 2GB 500GB
I am looking for the next big promo.
I am also looking.
I am looking for something but I don't know what I'm looking for yet
How often do OVH restock servers? I looking for KS-6 but in configuration that I want is out of stock
On Kimsufi, since its old hardware, either if they add a new rack, if they still have some or if people cancel.
i think i know
Set up some easy mirror (Debian, Docker HUB), syncthing relay, host games / some services for friends, learn kubernetes and Talos Linux with virtual machines. With OVH IPv6 /64, enough performance for this money and you can learn base things. And, ahh you can learn how to build dual stack, IPv6 capable cluster.
Or if you're tired reading this, transfer it to me for... ... ...
A baguette and $7!
KS-C seems to get double the disk but nothing else, sad.
