Any experience with BuyVM DDoS Protection and port forwarding?
Hi everyone,
I’m considering using BuyVM’s DDoS protected IP service to protect my VPS. I plan to use port forwarding or a reverse proxy setup to route traffic from the protected IP to my origin server.
Has anyone here used BuyVM’s DDoS protection in this way? How reliable and effective is their port forwarding for non-web services (like VPN, game servers, or custom TCP/UDP ports)? Any tips or pitfalls to watch out for?
Thanks in advance!

@Francisco When will Luxembourg be in stock?
People use GRE's or things like that. Some use haproxy depending on their backend needs.
LUX won't restock. It'll come back as Switzerland.

Could you clarify where I should order from, from BuyVM or Cloudzy AI
Cloudzy doesn't include any DDOS protection at the moment. If you want DDOS protection it has to be BuyVM.
I've brought up the idea of bringing Path to Cloudzy, but Hannan & his team are still thinking it over.

When can I expect some stock to be available? Could you share publicly or privately what the DDOS protect management looks like?

There's some screenshots around
I'll go dig some up for you.
It's simple/straight forward. Add a port, set a filter for it, and what action (accept/deny). Can't get anymore fancy than that.

I am not sure what people think about DDOS Protection, on provider side it is always L3, 4
for L7 you will have to use 3rd parties like Cloudflare etc... so not that much of thing!
