I do have photos of my family, which is around 360gb and still growing.

What do you guys think of reliable, secure, and the cheapest ways to backup your media for a lifetime?

Can I trust an external HDD/SSD for a lifetime?

Easy solution Google one or backblaze backup. You could also try jottacloud. Atleast with Google storage you can, share the access with your family members and set it to read only.

  • Looks like I am the only one using DVDs and Blu-Rays for backup + Synology.

  • I share a seed on nyaa.

2x External HDD should be fine. One keep at home abd other at your parents or some other relatives
