Small update, it seems that the slowness I noticed when downloading emails from IMAP has gone.
Perfect

Can we get this for multi user login please?
https://roundcubeplus.com/plugins/multibox
That'd have to be done on the separate roundcube install we've discussed a few times.
That shouldn't be an issue though, I just need to sit down and tinker some
We have some other bigger projects we're working on so it'll take a bit.
Francisco
Bigger projects…….? Like what mr Francisco?

Domains is a top priority but we had to stop that to work on shared/resellers. We're most likely going to change out the underlying hardware soon with genoa gear. I like the ryzen's but it's too easy for them to get tipped into 'OH GOD ITS ON FIRE' territory and our phones get nuked with alerts. Offloading a handful of the SQL's has helped a lot, but I think it's better to just get wider processors.
We have some proposed plan changes that I think people will really like (for the most part).
I'm just waiting to see if something else happens before I spend a lot on that gear.
Francisco
It could be. Removing old account cleared all calendars so it probably thought there aren't any calendars to import.
Answering my own question but in case anyone else is looking for this information I think the "Content Filtering" menu option (at either domain or user level) would (mostly) do what I need.
Criteria is quite limiting though with no regular expression option.
There is also no Action to Stop Processing Filter rules.
Wowww iCloud imap and smtp is working AND my 2fa code for my game came through straight away.
All my issues have been solved!
Well, actually, WebDAV without rclone would still be nice but I can live without tbh.
I am currently considering the CraneMail Starter 100G plan and would like to inquire whether it supports WebDAV for email and file management.
You can use spamexperts and enable 'advanced' mode inside of your 'profile' while logged in. From there you can do full regexp matching on headers/etc. You would need 2 sets of rules. One rule would be a 'block', that would catch the regexp. There's then an override option a menu option or two down on the left, where you can change the outcome.
You'd match the description you gave to the regexp (so, if you called it "Match for newsletters", you'd put "Match-for-newsletters" in the match, and then you can add to the subject, auto reject, etc.
Redirecting to other inboxes would happen at Smartermail, but you could match based on whatever you did at SE.
WebDAV is there for contacts/calendar. No files, and i'm assuming no for emails too? It's on the dev's TODO list, just, I think they're focused on some bigger things (high availability).

10 gb but 20 USD/ 10 years we have a deal?
No, sorry.
I think our offer is pretty attractive
Francisco
C'mon, are you serious? Their offers are already amazing. What kind of income do you think they would get from selling something for 20 bucks for a whopping 10 years? You must be trolling.
@vitobotta please provide to the community an honest review about this service.
Quite happy so far. It's a really good service at an awesome price. I like CraneMail more than MXRoute to be honest.
Or wait, did you want a more comprehensive review?
Not sure of what to add. The only problem I had was with the plus addressing, because I didn't know how to enable it, and Francisco helped. I had another issue with IMAP, but it was caused by an antivirus that I installed on the same day, so it was just a coincidence. Other than that, all is working very smoothly. No problems with receiving or sending emails so far, and the spam filter is awesome.
Can't believe that someone said that in public.
Don't put that evil on me, colbylicious!
Anyway, glad you like the product. For mail I think the next big improvement will be improving activesync so mobile gets calendars & contact syncing, instead of just email.
Francisco
Looks great
Is this limitation for PayPal-paid accounts long term and permanent? Referring to the PayPal email needing to be the same as the account email.
As in, even long after the chargeback risk period post-purchase, we will never be able to change the primary admin sign in email if we paid using PayPal? What about accounts paid for using credit card?
I saw it mentioned that ‘SMTP test’ was seen in the logs for a lot of cases for hacked credentials. Just wondering what this kind of email logging means for the general privacy for regular user emails?
If I cull a domain/site, can I remove it and re-use the domain slot?
Thank you!
Yep, we just count however many domains are inside of the cranemail portal.
After initial we can usually swap the paypal/signup email without issue.
There's email metadata for 30 days in both directions.
Francisco
Thanks Francisco! Sounds great.
I understand that migrations between regions are not supported.
Do you think paid migrations could potentially be supported in the future? Like paying a fee to change regions, so it’s not a time waster on your end. Or that is fully off the table too?
I’m getting some analysis paralysis choosing region haha, probably going to go with US.
The US company is responsible for the EU datacenter right? Or it’s a separate EU entity?
Cheers!
ok I'll take courage and say it too!
my mxroute actn is empty and idling
>
US company handles the EU side too.

How's WebDAV going? It's a nice feature. I'm still waiting, but by what date?
Smartermail hasent said anything yet. Our dev hasn’t had a chance to look into it more.

From attempting to purchase, my understanding is that we cannot use a corporate billing address for purchases unless you also are submitting that order from an IP address within a km radius near that billing address?
Irrespective of selecting PayPal as the payment method (with matching email address, physical address etc.), as it's blocked before even being able to attempt to pay.
It is rather confusing for a business oriented offering and rather trivial for real fraudsters to get around.
Just wanted to check if the above is indeed the intended behaviour and it is essentially set in stone for all cases.
Changing the billing address to a personal address specifically to match the IP address would make the corporate billing address mismatch with invoices for bookkeeping, payment sources etc. Meaning that only purchasing via personal payment methods would be possible. I'd need to do gymnastics to make it work and would hinder the ability to make future purchases.
Frantech (the parent company?) has always been a stickler for these weird anti-fraud rules even though literally no one else I buy services from do that. I agree with you, that it just means they will lose some legitimate customers, and scammers will get around it anyways.
In the age of data breaches, I don't use my legal name anywhere, but they changed the name on my account to the name of my PayPal, I noticed. Which is just great, another database with my information in it, where it's not needed for any functional reason.
We're open to feedback on improving the flow
