A biometric authentication is dangerous. We have one face all our life. What do you do if your face is compromised?
grow a beard shrug, easy fix
Actually, biometric data has already been leaked: in Ghana in 2016 and the Philippines in 2018, etc. In fact, biometric information is not used "as is." Your face is scanned and then hashed. When data is leaked, you don't need to replace your head
.
You need to contact biometric service support and request removal of biometric info. Then re-register. Even if hackers have old data, this won't let them use your current info.
In our state digital systems, you can withdraw your personal or biometric data at any time.
