Things can happen. But for most situations you can prepare. A good DC does. And not after an incident, but before.

O dear, I've just said DC where I meant DC/Network provider. Now he will catch me upon that... I'm shivering already...

The planned action/reaction, Thats my own Network. Not the DCs. I speak for Hostslick. Not the Datacenter. Nor do i Care what other Providers do. Not my business

    There we go already...

Are you skylink customer? Because i See in case of Heartbeat Network Problems thread i only see blaming skylink when its Heartbeats own issue ?

Otherwise i dont see any Provider moving out.

You don't. Yet. I've heard more providers thinking about it. But hey, that's just what I heard.

Please Stop talking nonsense all the time

This is the way I know you again. Angry, aggitated, etc. Looking to blame everyone and everything and trying to get the attention away of your own incapacity.

I have a VPS in the Skylink datacenter that uses your network. And most of the issues I had during that (almost) year are due to either Skylink (the power issue, remember?) or the network. Not enough capacity, promised network upgraded that were postponed over and over again, maintenance that took way longer than announced, network equipment failure, very regular outages (shorter, longer).

And yes, ofcourse the owner of the hardware had a few issues too. But there were only a couple and those can happen. The power issue of the DC? Should never happen in my opinion and only experienced something similar once before in my 30+ years of using datacenters. Network outages, either planned or unplanned? Experienced them way more with this VPS.

You can react here aggitated on my contribution to this post, but I'm aggitated because it's always something with my VPS in the Skylink DC. And a very large part of me feeling that way is (as said) because of network issues. But I already know you don't care about other peoples feelings. And I don't blame you. But in the end I know that I'm not the only one thinking that "Skylink" becomes synonym with "don't use it".

Uptime and performance is good so far after a month . No CPU steal and network has been good. @HostSlick

  • Still waiting for the poor network speed issue to be resolved ...

  • @HostSlick Another day has passed and I still don't have VNC access, this is insane, it literally takes 2 minutes to enable it, why wasn't it already enabled in the first place anyway?

I am trying to reinstall the server myself without custom ISO support but I am getting stuck during pre-boot, and it's impossible to debug the issue without VNC.

    Ticket #490861

  • Still getting crap speeds even with a fresh install of Debian 11 from panel:

  • Why this man isn't banned here yet?
Dont you think he is just laught at you all? I've registered here just for make this post because this is unbelievably sht.. and such "provider" cant be on LET. Sorry, English isn't my native language.

I've bought the 1Year VPS in November 2024. 12$. Till 1st Aprill there were sometimes downtimes and problems but I thought this is OK for 12$/Year service, for good service I should pay more. But, starting from 1st Aprill his network was a big problem and was down everyday, no connection to vps at all. I wrote tickets to check it but have an answers in 3-4 days that the problem is solving... but my vps was still was down this day, next day and next day. No fix, no answers. On 19 Aprill I've asked for full refund and wait for it. Only after a month on 19 May he wrote that can refund me only 8$. Ok, thats my problem that I didn ask a refund from the first month of such "service". Today is 23th June, how do you think did he return me my money? NO! My last ticket that if I didnt get my money back after 1month i will post on LET was just closed with no answer. So, I think 8$ is a big problem for this guy.

So I dont know why you all talking to him here and order/preorder any products. This is not a good place to spend even a 1$.

I've successfully received a full refund via PayPal.

You can go to the PayPal Resolution Center: https://www.paypal.com/disputes

Then click on "Report a Problem" on the transaction related to file a case and request refund. Just explain the situation clearly.

    Good luck!

Let's hope it actually gets fixed, if you need any help let me know (I am serious).

Also I am still waiting for VNC access, why is it taking so long? Your customer associate responded to the ticket and said it will be transferred to "technical department".

I have already applied for PayPal. Does PayPal need 30 days to review it? I saw a message on the page saying I don’t need to do anything, and this matter will be resolved by June 28th.

  • @HostSlick Still waiting for VNC access to be enabled, been waiting for 2 weeks for something that can be done in 2 minutes... what's the hold up?

  • @HostSlick Two more days have gone by without any response, what's really happening here? Don't you care about your reputation? Why is it so hard to just keep the customer up to date, the delays aren't the issue, it's the lack of communication. I cannot believe you are still in business with such lackluster service.

    Im human. not horse.

Bit slow and delays atm because busy as hell but we, me and my coworker are nearing to have all current ticket backlog solved till after the weekend, so FYI. Will make port doubles then finally

  • @HostSlick Thanks for adding VNC, better late than never, I was finally able to install my distro of choice thanks to Netboot.xyz

However the network speed issue still persists, hope it gets fixed soon and that we all get to experience the 20 gbit/s speed that we paid for.

By the way, why does my VPS only have 5.5 GB of RAM instead of 6 GB?

Also I hope that by the end of this you reset the renewal date as it's the right thing to do, without the fixes the VPS are useless for us.

True, sorry about that. Afterall a horse wouldn't call others retard.

Also, I meant dead horse as your company, not you. Ignoring your customers, ignoring service deliveries, ignoring your ticket replies, can't even enabling VNC for your servers while your customers beg for it shows how dead horse your company is.

You are bragging around earning a lot of money from your dedicated servers. If you are earning so much money, then hire some people to look after your business. Else, your company will keep being a dead horse.

I have fixed it this night. First i thought i had it fixed which maybe was because it doesnt happen on all distros. Which was Strange.

Now this night really fixed it. At least for now vps but for existing i Need to change This on every vps one by one which i will do Today

It had to do with The used virtual nic Driver for the kvm vps which we Changed now and tested. And is working.

I Need to sleep now a bit and will change the Driver on all existing vps configuration Files later today to fix it for the existing vps
