Everyone's losing billions right now.
Cloudflare’s critical Workers KV service went offline due to an outage of a 3rd party (Google Cloud?) service that is a key dependency
Congrats on becoming the new CEO (Cunty Executive Officer) of ExtraVM, I'm glad ur finally replacing @MikeA
anyway any $3/y dealz to celebrat?
Provider with routed /48 and no-cost BGP session for $3.50/month or less is less likely to have an outage.
Seems to be confirmed it was Google:
I'm surprised cloudflare now depends on google cloud.
Same article also says AWS claims they were not affected:
Anyone want to bet on how long it ends up being until there's a deadlock from the major companies depending on each other? (Ex: one day cloudflare depends on google depends on aws depends on cloudflare in a big circle that takes out everyone for an extended period)
Almost any provider can best their performance metrics. Already know long time.
Seems Azure is okay. Otherwise, it’s going to be a hell of a Friday.
