    VirtFusion with Virtualizor pricing :D

Heck, the only reason why I use Virtualizor is because Virtfusion is too expensive. I have a deal from SharedLicense which gives me $4/license, but my previous venture had the retail $9/license which was still reasonable.

Crap, realized SharedLicense was selling pirated software. Guess $17 is lost 🤷.

EDIT: Switched to legal licenses. Didn't realized it was cracked.

EDIT 2: Also got a refund from PayPal for the cracked software.

I would probably do a checksum of your code files against legit ones from virtualizor if you downloaded any files from SharedLicense, and investigate anything that's modified

Putting price aside, Virtfusion's convenience is currently the best.

In this type of case, for security reasons, the servers may be exposed due to their shared licenses being nulled (you must reinstall everything to delete them if there are any malicious files).

Is the Virt worth the extra cost though?

Quite frankly I switched to retail licenses last evening. Well, after learning that SharedLicense gives cracked software.

$7/yr deals please when you start using

I've been reinstalling my servers today. I'm on the last server, yay!

It does need a lot of live migrations in order to prevent downtime while I reinstall.

    Solusvm2

What makes that one better than SolusVM? Any personal expirence?

We are with SolusVM 2 and honestly, I'm very safisfied with the interface of the panel and the general stability and accessibility of it.

The interface is very, very good and streamlined, though Virtualizor has improved recently their appearance/organization (responsiveness is a different story); the updates are well executed; and the support team does help when it is needed. It also makes a nice continuum in the event someone has already dealt with Plesk, because some design clues are borrowed from there.

Compared with SolusVM1, and from what I saw, the main advantage does seem to be the interface - v1 seemed to be a little labyrhintic (the same question I have with VirtFusion). Also it seems to be based on more up-to-date technologies, e.g. cloudinit and OpenStack - Virtualizor doesn't even have cloudinit at this moment, nor did v1 afaik.

I've tested all three, plus Proxmox, pre-launch, and for me it was the best.

very good data thank you. If the SolusVM2's panel is better that is a plus. One challenge we had is how the available ram and HD space is populated in the dashboard, it shows it in two different ways on two different screens, and was confusing at first.

I don't think his response was meant to cause you any offence or the likes, nor do I think he thought you were 'attacking him' - he's simply saying its 'not fun' to have to do exactly what you suggested (which I agree is the right thing to do to ensure things stay secure).

Indeed, I mentioned that because that type of license can have many things we don't know, and it's better to reinstall all the production nodes, even though those $8 licenses are a lot to start with.

You analyze the expenses of each business to start, if you can't afford $8 a month or $20 a month for a license, look for another business.

Imagine being a pizza maker and not being able to afford even the dough, but you sell your pizzas for $1. You'll never be able to have all the dough or products you need for your pizzerias.

Sometimes having a business has its costs, and you don't see that as just having a node and going, we can set up plans, giving them away, and at any moment, Deadpool, but it's okay, I'm still a premium provider.

I agree, those shared licenses always bring trouble and it isnt worth it if you're looking to be a reputable provider.
