Get your rage bait up. It used to be a little believable before.

Just because you get mad at everything I post doesn’t mean what I post is rage bait 😂

It’s not a radical concept to say you shouldn’t steal things.

Kids will cry on here all day about not being able to steal another persons creation but won’t invest any energy into creating themselves.

Thank you for buying creations and supporting creators. I have chosen to pirate as much as I can. I respect your choice and do not ask you to criticize my choice.

Meanwhile, Mullvad is still going strong.

VPN does not protect from privacy, you know.

  • Not a good precedent.

  • This only builds the case for running your own VPN.

Get a VPS, set up openconfig or open up putty and connect to the vps ssh and tunnel to use its as a proxy.

Then all your traffic can be attributed to you rather than a pool of hundreds of other users. Also, your payment tied to the account and the IP you used to access the VPN.

In other words, self hosting has a different purpose than anonymity.

All your traffic is now tied to you. If you torrent a movie and one of those copyright troll bots picks it up, they’ll send a notice to your VPS provider, and the provider will pass it on to you. So it pretty much defeats the point.

Not if it's a VPS hosted in a country that doesn't respect DMCAs like Singapore or most countries in Africa.

    How that solves anything?

    Even makes it worse.

The same can be said about native vpn from those countries also.

Point was, thats not a solution. You are giving a solution of a problem that doesn't exist in the first place mostly.

Ok, but now I have the issue that the server is located several thousand kilometres away from me. I’m going to get shit speeds compared to a VPN that I can connect to in the same city I live in.
