I'm looking for a reliable VPS or root server to host a Next.js app with API routes and MongoDB.
The project is expected to serve around 1,000 users daily, with anticipated growth over time. Nothing resource-intensive like ML or video, just API calls, some server-side rendering, and a small search system.
⚙️ What I’m Looking For:
8 GB RAM or more
4 cores or more (dedicated or vCores)
No strict location requirement (Europe or USA preferred, but flexible)
Decent I/O and uptime
Full root access is a must
MongoDB-friendly setup (no blocked ports or limitations)
My budget is around $14 per month, so I'm looking for the best value for money, not the cheapest possible option if it means unstable performance.
I'm currently considering the Kimsufi KS-C, and I’d love to hear what you think about it.
