Hi

What simple monitoring system do you suggest to monitor memory and CPU usage per process with graphics per hour/day/month?

Thanks

AFAIK there's nothing simple for this, you have to setup a grafana+prometheus+nodeexporter or grafana+prometheus OR influxdb+telegraf , I would suggest the telegraf

HetrixTools is pretty solid for most use cases! Super easy to setup.

Prometheus Node Exporter cannot display resources usage at the system process level, this requires the Process Exporter. cAdvisor can display resources usage at the container level.

Htop can't give historic data, that would be amazing but I think it's not possible

Netdata Cloud is pretty good, free up to 5 nodes and has very granular monitoring around individual process resource usage. You can also self host.

Someone mentioned HetrixTools, as much as I love that product it doesn't give process usage, just overall.
