Looking for Reliable SMTP/Email Provider

Hey everyone,

I’m having trouble with emails from my WordPress site not getting delivered properly — they either don’t show up or land in the spam folder. I’m using SMTP(Hostbrr Directadmin), but it’s just not working the way it should.

Can anyone recommend me good, reliable SMTP/email provider that works well with WordPress? My main goal is to make sure emails from my site (like contact forms and order confirmations) actually reach the inbox, especially Gmail.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Go with @jar mxroute and do not look back. You cannot send spam though or he'll scream into your ear in around 13 seconds after you send the 2nd one.

  • SMTP2GO
    They have a WP plugin.
They have a free plan for <1000 emails per month.

Configure Amazon SES / zoho zeptomail / mail.baby via SMTP WordPress Plugin (WP Mail SMTP by WPForms)

Amazon SES is annoying and hard to get approved for, if it's not high volume I'd probably just use MXRoute, mail.baby or some MailChannels reseller like a web hosting package at RamNode or something

Not High Volume bro, few WordPress websites and my primary requirement is reliable email delivery for basic notifications — such as order confirmations, contact form submissions, user signups, and similar transactional emails.

Then you'd probably be fine with my recommendations. If they complain or you outgrow it or start to get limited in terms of sending and you can't get it fixed, that's when you move.

I have had a very decent experience with MXroute as well as with a MailChannels reseller.

For MXRoute do some research, there can often be some BF links or other deal links still working if you look closely :)

  • MXRoute @jar but wait for a Black Friday deal on a lifetime package if you plan to keep the service for a long time.

  • gsea4gsea4 Member

MXroute still have BF deals on Medium plan. There might be some active discount code floating around

mail.baby is only 1$/m so its worth checking out, HostBRR have mail.baby in their cpanel plans, is it possible you are using storage da plans for this? As i dont think they have it there. Could be wrong tho.
On other note @jar works great, also for mailchannels you have DrServer shared hosting in Dallas for 15$/y.

I have multiple products from @jar black friday and deals as the result of customer feuds. I will never cancel. Definitely try MXroute. I've gone years without any issue. He's also cool and has a backbone.

It could be also simple case of misconfigured spf / dkim, make sure your domain is properly configured for mail along with server also.

I am using @hostbrr SG Directadmin / German Directadmin - Both are having same email issue ):

Already in dialogue with the OP and Interserver on this. Seems like this domain triggers some weird filter and gets marked as spam even with a score of 0.

They've made two changes but still fails. Just waiting on the follow up.

    Good choice.

  • SES & Zeptomail

  • I use and recommend Zoho Zepto for this. It's deliverability is great, and it's extremely cheap as well. It only costs 2.50e per credit, and each credit includes 10000 emails and expires in 6 months.

Zoho's deliverability is not great by any metric. More like the opposite, they often have blacklisted IP addresses in their active pool.

They are among the worst in the industry actually.

I have used it for years and never, ever had any indication or suspicion that my emails were not delivered. Never. Also emails reach the inbox very quickly, also with the major email providers like Google, Microsoft etc.

I had the same issue. I highly recommend infomaniak. They offer free domain email hosting. Better than zoho by a mile. Zoho has gone down lately. Also infomaniak allows you to use imap so you can check your mail using just your normal email apps like outlook, Betterbird or Thunderbird. They are not only a good email provider for your domain, but fight for user privacy and security. Kind of like Riseup.

Well, not my experience, and there is plenty of evidence from other people online having the same issues, particularly with dirty IP addresses in the pool, which is inexcusable.

If I had to take a guess, many times they do not take IP addresses out of the pool and simply work on blacklist removal while keeping them active.

  • WP Mail SMTP plugin is best choice for you. just setup a free account at Brevo.com if 300 emails/day ok

  • ahasend.com 1000 free mail / mo

Not with your own domain, I don't think
