That said, IMO ColoCrossing clusterfucked this up big time.
TL;DR I'm very, very unlikely to ever become a victim ... err, "customer" of ColoCrossing.

Looks like fake Open AI , emails being sent to the hacked email list.
I did the thing you probably shouldn’t do on a VM and did some testing…it is in fact a real OpenAI email but it is a plan invitation and not a scam email.
This chinese guy is giving everyone free ChatGPT team on the ColoCrossing breach for some reason.
What’s more baffling, is that this guy is paying $25 per seat per year and there are 16,416 people on the GPT team. Meaning this guy is paying at least $410,400 for ChatGPT team slots to promote a chinese forum.
Unless they found some exploit to get seats for free or something.
Unfortunately there are only two providers on this forum that are untouchable and surely we all know who they are.
To say the quiet part out that staff members cant: they're the reason why we have a platform in the first place. So ofc, they invincible.

I knew I’d heard it somewhere, now I remember. Linux.do, they’re the same people who used to run publicly accessible ChatGPT-like instances before it was widely accessible to everyone. They were using some enterprise API credits or something to do that. Later it was discontinued and the sites redirected to Linux.do. Not surprising they have the resources to pull this off probably to promote their forum or whatever.
