That is not the case, he is just making assumptions based on low price, now multiple users have already posted yabs, you can see the results..
Great price! Finally have a leaseweb node now after they went b2b

Will there be similar deals in other Leaseweb locations?
What is the specific model
$24
edit:
oh if you're talking about what sort of processor model..
Is it really stable and not oversold?
Leaseweb often allocates nodes with very high loads.
When this happens, asking Leaseweb to replace the nodes is the most efficient way to do it
Anyway
4 AMD cores
6G RAM
Only $2 per month
Definitely value for money
Looking forward to similar offers in Europe and even Asia!
nice offer!
Please update the renewal price for purchased users. Minor changes are just for better user experience. Thank you very much
amazing price!
Which location you want ?
It's been very robust and stable for me. Of course it is oversold, but
st%is always less than 0.3% when I checked. My VPS is not in WDC though, so YMMV.When this happens, asking Leaseweb to replace the nodes is the most efficient way to do it
Los Angeles or San Francisco .. something west coast .. I would signup right away
How much does it cost to add a 5T hard drive?
Agree
Unfortunately, this price is not currently possible for SFO.
But i can offer you 36$ /year for Leaseweb VPS 1 ( SFO or L.A. )
If you are interested, please send me PM.
What about AMS? It's one of their best locations.
I've already purchased a server in WDC (Washington DC). According to the support ticket, it's not possible to switch locations by paying extra.
I can only place a new order via PM for the desired location (e.g., LA).
Yes correct, you can't exchange, but you can buy new.
If people ask like this, i will simply not offer a promo in SFO, because there is no promo in SFO, we will place new order for users who want it.
Just wanted to deliver when you guys have asked for it.
+1 for AMS
Sorry, currently not available.
If we try to offer it, price wont be below 40 Euros. for Plan #1 ( Yearly )
I'd also be interested in a promo VPS in Europe, preferably in NO or NL (which however becomes increasingly less interesting), or just about anywhere in Europe if the price is attractive.
Also, my first impression of my WDC VPS is very positive so far (after just 2 benchmark runs).
proc&mem: single core >=300 MB/s
multi-core >= 900 MB/s
AES almost 1000 MB/s
Disk: about 20 MB/s and a bit over 5k IOps
Connectivity: Less impressive than in marketing BS benchmarks but still impressive. Pretty much all of Europe about 100 Mb/s (some more like 90, but the important ones solidly above 100 Mb/s), Asia in the 50 Mb/s range, both China targets as well as HKG too!), Ozzyland all 3 targets reached(!) and speed like Asia, both Africa targets reached and decent speed, USA a bit all over the place, from about 150 - 200 Mb/s west coast, and about 400 Mb/s Chicago to solidly above 1 Gb/s east coast.
But again, keep in mind that those numbers are preliminary.
All in all very happy with my new VPS, exceptionally good deal. Get one while they're available!
I will order VPS1 in each location SFO and LA ..sending DM
In this vps we dont have this much storage upgrade option at all. max 1000GB possible.
And storage upgrade price is too high so we are not accepting storage upgrade.
Eg: 1 x Disk upgrade 100 GB + $ 3.33/Monthly
So, i would suggest avoiding it.
Grabbed 2 more of these VMs, but in Singapore and Japan (thanks once again @HostDZire)
YABS
Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵
Singapore 🇸🇬
nws.sh
Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵
Singapore 🇸🇬
These results are from a bare minimum default install of Debian. You can get way better results if you tweak sysctl stuff or use custom kernels.
IOPS seem to be hard limited. Not a big deal for me, and probably neither for most. 25TB @ 10 Gbps is just insane at this price point in APAC (even in EU/NA, it's not that easy to grab)
Obviously, the transit providers make a huge difference between having a premium blend or not, and lsw's network in these 2 locations is not perfect. But I also can't expect GSL / SG.GS transit for such price, lol.
SG has Cogent and Telstra
JP has NTT and TATA
Make sure to show interest for any other location and @HostDZire might do a nice deal
(I actually paid in full for these, rip my wallet, and I'm voluntarily doing this quick "review". Not endorsed nor pre-approved by @HostDZire in any means)
Where to order these locations?
Japan 24$/y definitely beats GreenCloud.
25k R/W IOPS @ 4k is perfectly fine for all workloads I'm sure. 25TB in APAC at $24/yr is amazing. Also the geekbench single core score for your SG instance is great. 1111!
@zGato said he paid the full price for apac instances though.
No under the table deal? RIP.
