Just a technical question:
Theoretically, if we grab an NVMe-only dedicated server, is it possible to attach an add-on disk from your "add-on storage"? I do not know why, but is it technically possible?
Something like a Hetzner SB for dedicated (attach via SMB, for example)
And one more question:
Can I grab the lowest package with that price for idle purposes and then upgrade the storage disk via the panel for the same price?
I will explain: I already have enough storage server, but wanna fix the price for future me.

currently nothing free, sorry.
NVMe space is only available as local space in this case while slower HDD space could come via NFS, SMB or ISCSI.
Puh, a good question. In general yes. But if you come 1 year after the event ended and want to have 200 PB of space for 1 EUR, then No, not really.
So it depends on availability of the offer. If its still valid, yes if not, not.
But honestly: Dont waste your money. If you dont need it, just let it go for now. If ever you really need it, you can contact us and we will find a way :-)

That VPS is very pretty. If you go over 50TB (unlikely but just in case) what are the overage charges or does the speed drop?
That ought to be enough RAM to run a Nextcloud instance no? (For basic file syncing)
But yes as others have said, this is a very tasty server, only held back by the fact that I have too many storage idlers as it is...
my nextcloud instance uses like 500Mb ram at most, 8GB feels really excessive

if > 50 TB then either upgrade traffic for $$$ or there will be a port speed reduction to 10 Mbit/s until end of the month.
the point here is complexity. Some need 1GB, others 2 GB and yet others 3.341 GB ( and not a single byte more!!! ). With 8 GB we cover the most use cases for storage boxes and no one has to warm up his calculator to check if maybe a new new idea/use case requires suddenly too much RAM and 64kb are somehow missing... We just give the maximum we can give for this pricing.
