Any news on Servaria outage?
in Outages
This seems partial - we have lots of VPSen with Servarica, and only two are down (for around half an hour). But the clients page and the network status are unreachable too which makes this seem big for a partial outage. I'm hoping someone has some news or insight.

My critical vps with them is down right now, awaiting for their response on issue and resolution @servarica_hani chat has been read but not reply.
Site and chat opens, client area down,
Add me to the list as well. Mission dependent vps went down at 08:45 EDT. No response to chat or to email. Tried calling them as well, straight to voicemail.
Critical and mission dependant should not be low end. Enjoy your lesson.
what the deal with yall hosting critical $6 billion projects on random LET hosts
Agreed, which is why I've moved to my backup plan; we're up and running but would be nice to have an update from these guys.
Atleast they should update on issue , so can inform to related clients.
its up now.
Nobody's immune to outages. One of Canada's big-three telecoms just had a big outage a few days ago. I was getting phonecalls because their customers couldn't connect to our services... :-P I wouldn't even host truly critical infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Oracle without redundancy.
Lowend makes it fiscally responsible for us to do 2N+1 with a different host in a different city for every replica. It is nice when a whole DC disappearing for a while doesn't interfere with my sleep, but it does make me want to check in to cause, likelihood of recurrence, and resolution timelines.
Over 24 hours at this point, hopefully all is okay.

My services, and the client area are back online. If you're still having trouble, it's probably time to open a ticket.
Keep backups people, then you can always sleep at night knowing that you won’t lose much or anything.
Remember OVH’s infamous datacenter fire and “activate disaster recovery solution.”
I am really sorry
it is network issue in single rack that caused the whole rack to lose connection
This has resulted in
1- One of the VMs that our website depend on was on it which caused the client area to go down
2- All VMs in the rack lost connection
3- The storage and hybrid VMs in the rack lost connection to storage network which means they must be rebooted
the first 2 issues were fixed immediately after we fixed the switches
the 3rd one took some time to go though every vm and make sure all vms can access their storage
Thanks
they aren't. they're just loud as hell and extremely cheap
Find any good porn while snooping?
We dont access the vms or log in them
in those cases the team has a way to make sure the vm is accessing the storage and the storage state is not stalled
if it is stalled they will reboot the vm and do another set of checks
but the whole operation does not involve logging or accessing anything on the client vm
But they are my backups!
You're supposed to tell him you found his furry porn.
I feel bad I lost the opportunity
I still remember Octave Klaba tweeted out that clients should start doing that and people were like "what backups?"
There were also the clients who paid extra for OVH's backup solution that appeared to be in another data center but turned out to be in the same one only after the fire. OVH got into legal trouble for that.
Canadian quality.
