i was surprised that he made this vps deal because he said many times past few months he would not offer any more VPS deals and would cancel his provider tag.
imagine my disappointment when he cancelled the christmas kvm storage deals too, when he said alternatives were coming but did not arrive. the current deals still look tasty on paper though.
however, one moment vps is too much support resource hog, the other moment superb flash deals fly like its Christmas all over.
still waiting for his new colleague to start answering tickets though
i guess this unfortunate delay would be blamed on Seagate for ready hardware.
The very minimum the provider can do is say something rather than go full radio silence. I would say once June 6 arrives without any delivery (30 days from promised delivery day), people should
chargeback yesterday

In the future, don't make promises like "deliver latest on 5 May" that you can't keep. You're off the mark by 23 days (and counting), which isn't a "slight delay" by any stretch of the imagination.
Nobody asked you to promise on an exact delivery date. You wrote that in yourself, so this is a problem you brought upon yourself.

Pay in advance and wait for the time to delay several times to receive VPS, that's not a good idea.
To be honest, I would prefer ~10,000 PowerOnHours but "original HDD" that was new ~1,5 years ago.
But I am not saying it's bad, it's just unusual for me.
Recertified is different from Refurbished. It's a quite rigorous process. Recertified drives even have lower failure rate than NEW drive because new drives can't be tested as rigorously (it would block production line)
However, it must be done by some reputable sellers and not a random dude in his basement.
