It was cheap to start with.. I had one of their cheapest Indian location VPS plan from a different offer page. I used it for my personal home server getway (To bypass ISP CG-NAT via VPS Tunnel). Mostly around 50-80mbps steady up/down from my home server.
Although bit slower (Network throughput) but it run flawlessly non stop for almost 11 months till this dreadful day. Just a month before the renewal, this Indian NODE went down.
They were clear with their communication. Proactively informing about the hardware failure. Unfortunately, as it seems, they have no timeline about the node getting fixed and more importantly, there are good chance of complete data loss.
They offered temporary VPS from a different node with different IP.
Suits me, since neither I have any use of the previous IP, nor I hosted any data on that VPS but problem is, the new node is awfully slow. I have raised a support ticket but unfortunately their reply sums it up
On top, may be this is temporary, but at present, their client portal panel is also down.
Overall, they weren't that bad for being USD 15 for entire year for an Indian location VPS. I personally, didn't want to end this with such a bitter way.
I may now have to search for another India VPS plan for my need. At present Caasify seems to be an option at Euro 2.5 per month, pretty expensive compared to this present plan and I dont see any reviews either about their Indian location performance. If someone has any thing in mind, point me to the right direction.
