Um, cancel it and go with a cheaper VPS or
Setup openvz kernel and create a 4GB VPS for someone who wants to pay with it.
Play Minecraft on it, haha.
I WAS going to stick it into neuronhosting, but I decided not too.
I'll rent it out for 60$ mo
BUT, I would rather find a use, so any ideas?
Run shared hosting or megauplad
donate it to kim dot com
Anyothers?
Cmmon, someone has to have SOME idea of what to do with it
Like Derek said setup OpenVZ on it and give away 128MB free for LET members..
You can have a bigger one like 512 or 1gig for yourself to play around.
folding@home.
Resource for your favorite open source project.
Free hosting to nonprofits.
Start LowEndDating.com.
Or start another social network to compete with Facebook. Because we don't have enough of those yet.

Store your entire porn collection?
Who are you renting in off?
Volumedrive lol
give me a fucking link if you do that!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe they are still around. They are T E R R I B L E.
Their support is beyond terrible.
The service itself is actually quite good. Had a server and a VPS with them. As long as you manage everything yourself, you should be fine.
Server has been up for 29 days, back when I purchased it.

How about you try them before you dis them, supports not great, but if you know what you are doing its not a problm
I know its unmanaged, but @speckl was saying they sucked when he has never even seen their servers.
I think its cause the owners work at the PA and not jacksonville.
I admit I've never had a server with them. I should be shunned for the lack of good threads I've read about them on WHT. Let's not forget the cheap dedi debacle of last year.
They definitely got their name out there for sure, but many of us have seen more negatives that positives.
I will admit, I waited a good while for my server.
It was about a week for me. I ordered it about a month ago.
If you notice, all the negatives come from not being able to get a response via their support email. They never come from downtime, slow speed, etc..
You're one of the lucky ones then.
I was extremely happy with my VolumeDrive server's performance and network. However, when I sent emails to them regarding sales and support, they have never responded to my emails once.
I suppose they've got a massive amount of server installations at first so they didn't have the time to reply to e-mails. they're probably improved since then.
Probably then. Haven't dealt with them in a year. Guess they improved, that's good to see.
Anyone has the link to his collection of "media"?
Ontopic, @bijan588 already figured out what to do with it?
I put a sales email in from my private address (@vmport.com) about a quote for a few nodes on the 28th November 2011 and have still not had a reply :P
Nope, still sitting here
run a game private server, and earn...
Setup a LEB minecraft server
@Raymii I already run a whole Minecraft GSP. xD Thanks for the idea though.
