Double Bandwith please
Yes the support is great depending on the price.
I also had some difficult issues solved by the support.
Thank you so much.
I need to current myself
I mean based on what you pay for the services , the support is really great.
Sorry for the confusion
I'm experiencing frequent network dropouts on my VPS — about two to three complete interruptions per hour, sometimes even more. While support has been friendly and responsive, including trying a new IP address, the core issue remains unresolved.
It's understandable that this is a budget-friendly server, but it's currently not reliable enough for practical use. I appreciate the support’s willingness to help, but I really hope stability improves soon — otherwise, it’s hard to recommend the service in its current state.
I wouldn’t say that in general.
Yeah it depends on your use case
I am using one of the server as an upstream for my own as.
It’s working nearly perfectly.
Yes, there are disruptions I see, but comparing to other providers in that price range , that’s awesome
I get your point — it really does depend on the use case.
In my case, I'm using the VPS mainly to have a public IP and enable port forwarding so that my Raspberry Pi at home can be reached externally. It runs a WireGuard server that creates a tunnel back home.
So stability is absolutely critical. Right now, the frequent dropouts — multiple times per hour — are a major problem. My XMPP chat server is behind that tunnel, and every time the connection drops, it breaks all active chats and video sessions. It makes real-time communication nearly impossible.
For that kind of setup, even occasional interruptions are extremely disruptive.
Yeah.
I understand.
I am also using WireGuard.
My monitoring is using this tunnel to monitor this node.
It’s running fine.
Maybe it’s a node specific issue ?
I don’t know.
Thanks for the input — that's interesting to hear.
Yeah, could very well be node-specific. If your WireGuard tunnel is stable, then maybe I was just unlucky with the assigned node. My setup is pretty minimal too, so it really comes down to network reliability. Hopefully support can move me to a more stable environment, or this one improves soon.
Appreciate you sharing your experience!
I am not seeing any dropouts. Where exactly do you see those dropouts? Is it just your VPS? The node your VPS runs on? chunkserve's network? the connection between chunkserve and some/specific IP address?
Mine is running on node07
Yeah, I keep seeing repeated connection drops — it's not constant, but definitely multiple times per hour. The WireGuard tunnel breaks, and all traffic over it stops for several seconds to a minute before it recovers. This includes lost XMPP sessions and failed media streams.
At this point, I can't say for sure where exactly the issue lies — whether it's the VPS itself, the node it's on, Chunkserve's upstream connectivity, or something in between.
To properly analyze it, I’ll need to dig deeper — maybe set up persistent ping or mtr to multiple endpoints (like the VPS’s gateway, 1.1.1.1, and my home IP), and also capture traffic using something like tcpdump or wireshark on both ends. That way I can see exactly when and where packets are dropping or if there's routing instability.
If I find anything concrete, I’ll definitely share it here.
