looking for asia IPv6 only servers

so basically I'm looking for something for dev and testing purpose (and maybe few low load production apps), since ipv4 could cost few dollars and I'm using cloudflare as frontend access, so ipv6 only is preferred.

minimal specs:

  • 1v cpu core, no older than e5 v4, the avg usage will be low, and usually <10 burst tasks every week (basically finished in 10mins)
  • 2gb memory
  • 10 or more GiB disk - could be either SAS or SSD, as long as it could provide performance like the entry level production offered by aws/azure (generally 1-2k iops and 60MiB/s io?)
  • 200GiB monthly bandwidth, comes with ipv6 address or subnet, would be good if nat ipv4 outbound connectivity available (no port forward needed, and ipv4 connectivity is optional)
  • HK/SG/JP are preferred
  • at least 95% SLA, the higher the better
  • budget: ~$12/y

is that possible or I was just daydreaming?

    Your budget is within NAT range services while RAM is far from those services. Either increase the former or reduce the latter.

    There's no direct relation between NAT service and RAM.
    You can totally make IPv6-only or NAT service with 8GB RAM (yes we would buy it if our existing provider deadpools), or include dedicated IPv4 with 1GB RAM.

    However, IPv6-only 2GB RAM in Singapore is more like $16~20/year; $12/year is unsustainable.
