Just wanted to share my own experience, which has been quite the opposite. I’ve been with them for about a year now, and overall, it’s been very stable and reliable.
Heres my hetrixtools stats for Hostbrr's DE server
Last 24 hours: 100.0000%
Last 7 days: 100.0000%
Last 30 days: 99.8981%
2025 so far: 99.9437%
Monitored since: 10th of May 2024
Total uptime since May 2024: 99.9465%
Page loads in 1.44 sec, if you have more than 2-3 sec perhaps your isp is doing some heavy filtering..

30 sec is too much ...
It took me a while to fall out of a state of regardation, but once I did I started enjoying using my Hostbrr storage boxes. No complaints really. I know it's not webhosting, but I don't care about your webhosting. I'm happy.
Yeah it loads fast for me too. The site is hosted on an interserver box in NJ. I’m in NJ and it loads in a second.
The price and service are a good match, and hostbrr is also actively working on resolving issues.
I have several services from HostBrr, VPS, storagebox, storageVPS, DA reseller hosting.
They all work pretty good. The DA reseller is not the fastest i have seen, but it is certainly not slow either.
why not just put your shit on a cheap-ish VPS with nginx or apache? shared hosting is often cooked. i often just containerize each site, set up traefik and cloudflare/cloudflared (if wanted)
Why not just cache your effing website on CF if it's just a blog? It will be faster, it will reduce origin load, it's free, and it works..... I don't have any website hosted on hostbrr but even a website on single core shared e5 v3 powered vps can load my website in 1-2 seconds. If it's more than 10-15 seconds then there's something wrong with either your setup or your ISP. Cross check everything and configure proper caching rules with CF and use seraphinite or something on your wp it will do wonders for you.
I've been with hostbrr for over a year with 1 webhosting package, and I have no complaints.
I don't have any information about Hostbrr, but it seems you have a shared hosting plan. If you want a better performance, you should aim for VPS.
Setup Astro js for blog and host on netlify 😀
You pay and you get stuff in return. Shrimple as that.
then get 100$ bill due to bandwidth used by random bots in internet.
have u checked their bw costs? if you are in free plan its $55 x 100GB.
last time i used them they didn't even had any suspend rule if bw limit reached, it started billing directly.
This is common across providers like Vercel, Firebase app hosting, and Netlify..... the 100,000 usd bill screenshots are filled on Reddit 😅
Astro can be hosted on Cloudflare workers as well but if someone wants to stick with WordPress then Hawkhost, Hostinger or even Namecheap are bang for bang options.
I m using hostbrr from last 1 year and most of time service is good and he reply to tickets within 1 hr and yes we do not expect 100 percent uptime from a 5 dollar monthly 250gb package and about hostinger they are the worst provider lots of my clients have small wordpress websites and their hosting is so slow and i moved them to some where else in my opinion for low cost better stick to hostbrr and for premium service go to name crane and they are 50 times better than hostinger
tough situation, did you reach out to them though?
Unfortunately, NameCrane service has also gone downhill.

We've made some big improvements on the shared side, but you're welcome to ticket or let me know what you're seeing. We have some other major changes in the works we hope to roll out in the next few months.
Good luck to the OP, i'm sure brrrr will get it worked out.

Just wanted to say NameCrane has been great and one of the best performing shared hosting accounts we have had in recent memory. The only issue we ever seen since having hosting with them was about a week ago. It seemed like one of the DA shared accounts had some sort of issue for a couple hours and it was fixed quickly (kept getting downtime detector notices in 5-10 minute cycles). Maybe the VM crates are a different story.. don't know as we don't have any of those.
The whole world is going downhill
nothing going down hill technical problems can happen and you get what you pay for best is get a dedicated server and manage it yourself other wise for low cost hostbrr is good
host brr best low cost $5 250gb
name crane best service and best price $15 250 gb
knownhost more premium $29 250 gb
and dedicated server
lowest is kimsufi $20 + $ 30 license cost + $6 immunify av cost + mail baby $2 = total cost will be $58 without cloud linux or add + $18 cloud linux (optional)
or just get a dedicated server install cyberpanel or hestia cp
choice is all yours
@Francisco what improvement you did at singapore directadmin server i can see database repond soo fast and i can see in server status sql service is OFF did you moved the sql server to another server or what i would love to know the technical thing
Ngl thats absolutely true, need some factory reset.
Only problem I’ve had is they don’t reply to tickets.
I will keep renewing my HostBrr..... Hosting.
Their service is acceptable for my standard and budget.
It’s kind of funny you’re using a ping check on a server that blocks ICMP packets as evidence.
It’s even funnier that everyone is eating it raw.
You just got a bad providers
Try racknerd and you will be Feel Difference
Their uptime unbelievieble. 99.9% for 4 years
Their performance are great and no sucks
99.9% uptime for 4 years = 43.8 minutes downtime per month.
That sucks.
