MassiveDump only responding to people who want to buy their services
Maybe we can get LET moderators to direct @MassiveGRID to respond to the repeated question about his murky refund offer.
This offer has unlimited money-back guarantee.
If you’re ever less than thrilled with our service, cancel anytime and get a full refund for the remaining service period, from cancellation to expiration.
@jsg thank you for your benchmarks. We noticed that the way the network benchmark is being performed depends also on the CPU resources, which are limited by the 1 vCore on your plan.
Your VDS has been extended for the extra free year. The VPS offers on the other thread are in the process to be upgraded as well and you'll be notified/tagged once this happens.
Let's not even talk about the uptime - random reboots whenever they feel like.
Very "Highly Available".
This has been resolved.
It most certainly doesn't look resolved at all.
What exactly?
Peak example of you get what you paid for.
Everyone who fell for this trap and is now complaining about the horrible performance and uptime, its totally self induced.
In my country situations like these are called going to the dick forest with an open mouth.
Great lesson to learn to choose better.
Uptime problems have been resolved. Affected 20% of the VPS offers (different offer, different thread). Our team handled all requests successfully.
Performance is best on VDS. VPS by definition share resources and performance can fluctuate. That’s why we made the VDS offer for those that need performance to be high and consistent.
It should be rock solid indeed - all problems have now been solved.
I’ve never been satisfied with the VPS from your other thread, I was told no refunds.
Could you make things right and extend this refund to my existing service to restore a little trust?
What’s the issue you’re facing? Do you have a ticket number?
@MassiveGRID This is a disgusting company, i ordered the previous offer from them thinking it was an ok deal.
after that weeks of issues with teh server, and yes, its more stable now but still iops are slow and the CPU cores seem hogged..
i tried to get a refund, but no i was too late
i downgraded the vps to minimal specs but still the difference isnt refunded. This is just a scummy company that runs with your money. i just want to get rid of my VPS here and get at least part of my money back but they are hiding behind their ToS...
even a bigger F U from them is that in THIS offer they give you the option to always cancel, but noo not the previous one...
DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS!!!!
We do have a 15 days money back guarantee in our other offer and by default we offer that in all our products for 20+ years.
IOPS and CPU performance has been improved since the beginning of the offer.
In case more performance is needed resources can be upgraded.
In case you’re facing a specific issue, please let us know.
I can confirm that the MG VDS that is, the product sold in this thread is not utter crap but works OK, not great but really OK.
Unfortunately though about the only positive thing I can say about MG's other product, the ultra-cheap VPS, is that MG's support is quite quick, polite, and helpful (that's my experience anyway); the VPS as such however is hardly usable and about the crappiest VPS I ever experienced.
Can we transfer service from the previous VPS offer to this??
Yes, we'll only bill the difference.
And then refund the full amount?
Naughty
I'm surprised anyone went to their site, clearly saw a fake hosting provider site (the organizational chart doesn't even have the names of the people) and then handed over money to these people. Pretty funny.
As if the prices weren't amazing already, they offer 20% to affiliates on top of that.
Newsflash - they also ask those that complain for their ticket # so they can fix your specific accounts, so you will stop complaining.
Aside from overselling, this is probably a great way to get CC info from hundreds of people. Cheaper than buying them on the dark web.
The masses want "cheap cheap cheap" at all costs. I doubt most clients actually checked their website other than to complete the order page.
They will learn the hard way that it's expensive to be cheap... one way or the other.
I'm surprised LET allows this on their platform, but I'm very new here, so who knows how long before they pull the plug.
Well they claim one of their clients is the State of Maryland. Took a screenshot of their About page and can't hurt to email the Maryland Attorney General's Office just to be sure
We understand that our prices might be too good to be true. We're here for those who'd like to get a good service at a good price and take advantage of our offers.
We try to make offers that have very low pricing so people can take advantage of the low pricing.
If there are any legit or technical questions, please let us know.
We don't engage in defamation attempts.
@MassiveGRID whats the difference between this LET offer and the more expensive plan (starting from $43.42 monthly) that comes with 5Gbps port and 100TB traffic?
Mainly is that the $43.42/month plan is fully managed. Meaning that we provide sysadmin support in the server and we setup 24x7 monitoring for the services the server runs.
The offer here is a VDS which is self-managed for sysadmin tasks. We manage the server so that it's online and the console works but we don't provide support inside the server.
This isn’t a good deal. This is lowendtalk. Not a Fortune 500 company that you take to golf.
I bought one, but do not expect it to actually last four years. A shitbox is a shitbox. Its working for my vpn to watch british milf porn
do you have any plans to stop using the default proxmox storage cluster, doing so would enable better disk speeds -- had done so myself.
