  • If you are concerned about trust and overselling, you should go with a reputable brand from the start. Do some searching around the forum here.

If you have to even ask this question and post about it on a forum, the answer is very likely no

Index-Hosting is pretty good. Not much downtime, in my experience. Support generally responds within 24 hours. Not using it for production, just an idler.

    Here's a YABS for a 2 core Genoa EPYC, 10GB RAM, 80GB NVMe

    Good:

    • A lot of resources for a low price, especially if you get a good deal.
    • Servers are relatively stable (some issues now and then with their Epyc node, Ryzen is stable).
    • VPS performance is decent

    Mediocre:
Their support is relatively clueless. For example:

    • They advertise "5 Backup Slots" while their setup shows 0/0. When I notified them about it, they said they are working on it - that was several months ago. So no backups really...
    • If you use a root password instead of a key for some reason, after every host node reboot, your password is reset to the one in the control panel. Their solution? Set the desired root password in the control panel, and it will be applied again after reboot. Silly...
    • Their billing panel doesn't use your available credit automatically, so your service may expire even if you have a balance unless you log in every time to pay invoice. So, to use the credit, you have to log in and manually confirm it for each invoice.
    • at some point, their "Unlimited Traffic" became limited for all Ryzen VPSes. Still more than enough bandwidth (9TB) for my needs, just mentioning it, as some may see this as important.

    Are they worth the money?
I think so, as long as you don't expect stellar service. I just wish they weren't so clueless about some basic things like the issues mentioned above.

That seems moderately horrific from a security standpoint, and enough of a red flag to run screaming to the hills.

    Sumary, NO GO.

  • We’d like to contribute to the discussion as well:
Our support team is always available and aims to assist with any issues as quickly as possible.

    Regarding the thread linked above:
It appears that some users were directed to our services from the forum and proceeded to run stress tests on our servers, subsequently posting their YABS results. While we welcome honest feedback, relying solely on such isolated benchmarks - especially without context - can be misleading. From our perspective, it's difficult to consider these results as a reliable reflection of our typical performance.

We’re more than happy to engage in transparent discussions and encourage anyone interested to reach out to us directly or perform tests under clearly defined and fair conditions.
