If this was self-hosted will be great, I don't like to use SAAS.

I understand your point but self hosted means managing licences, etc: not something I want to deal with right now.

    Hello,

Do you have a custom status page?

@spuyet Looks modern and well-organized - I've started using it on one of my VPS instances. Personally, I'd prefer the daemon to be written in Rust instead of Python. But since it's open source - I can always rewrite it for my own use, right?

Yup, you can do whatever you want 👍

    Hello LET 👋

I'm proud to share with you the freshly released status pages feature, you can put any number of items you want, keep the page private or public and use a custom domain (setup is easy as f*ck 🤗).

Here is one example with a custom domain: https://example.puyet.io/

    Enjoy!

I just want to throw this in here; I have had a lot of contact with Sébastien over the last weeks and he is just great to deal with. Bug reports are taken seriously and taken care of, he is thankful for assistance, constantly improving the project (which I pay nothing for) and doing a great work improving this service rapidly.

I do not expect nor take for granted this level of commitment from projects and I very much look forward to seeing this project grow in the future.

Huge respect for, and thanks to this developer!

@zejjnt thanks for the kind words, really appreciate it 🤗🥰

Just released the logo upload for status pages, they can be fully branded now: https://example.puyet.io/ and page title can be hidden too.

I just released an update of the instance setup funnel, the goal is to improve the setup experience of the agent and let you define all the services you need to have monitored for this instance. A small preview here:

I'm also happy to share that I just created a Discord server to let you directly share your feedbacks, issues and ideas: https://discord.gg/zRxBTppUcZ feel free to join 😊

Does anyone has resource consumption stats of this monitoring?

I've installed fivenines, hetrix, netdata and agent360 on a machine and registered resources usage thanks to atop. Here is the result: https://youtu.be/0vdWqnmYgwc?si=_9ayRWRhi6m9eyzQ

Basically fivenines is using less resources than others (netdata is collecting data every 1s if I'm right, so their resource usage is pretty decent IMO).

For Hetrix it's a bit harder to see the real resources usage because it's using bash commands but if you group them, you can see that it consumes way more resources than others: https://youtu.be/U4asYhrEz_s

This a quick and dirty benchmark, it does not prove anything, do your own research ;)

EDIT: Also added fivenines processes tracking for the same period than atop:

Good, performance matters. Please include ability to delete account.

Indeed, will probably create a real benchmark about it at some point. About account deletion, do not hesitate to ping me if needed, I can delete it manually, automatic deletion is is on my todo but not on top of it to be honest.

Not in the roadmap yet but it’s planned, you can upvote for light mode here: https://fivenines.canny.io/feature-requests/p/non-dark-mode-theme

Will Fivenines track and display disk health status, similar to Hetrix, which shows SSD/NVMe wear percentage, etc.? If not, is it planned for a future release?

Lastly, I see your ToS, but there's no clear Privacy Policy.

  • Does this monitor docker containers? Like which container is using what amount of ram, cpu, etc?

Yes, Disks health monitoring is supported, also RAID monitoring. Will improve privacy policy.

You've built a really nice service.

BTW, I have a recommendation, please improve the graphs. There seems to be a bug in rendering the graph info position. Also, it would be great if you could sort the graph from highest first to lowest last values.

Till now I was using Beszel but the problem was hosting it. I would need a separate mini server only for this purpose. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I am admittedly interested in trying out Fivenines and seeing what it offers in comparison to Hetrix. I hope that it plays nicely with VirtFusion!

Currently, the only thing holding me back is the absence of a clearly defined privacy policy and knowing where my personal data (email address/name) and billing information are stored, as well as how your company handles this data. I am not insinuating that the data is being mishandled; I am just saying that having the policy available publicly definitely helps build confidence.

Fixed it, no more tooltip outside of the viewport and series are now sorted by descending value order.
