Will they give me a refund? If they don’t provide my server, I will never use OVH again. I’ll be very disappointed if that happens. I placed the order with high hopes and excitement, and now I’m just waiting, hoping they will deliver it.

They'll deliver eventually. Sometimes it’s not immediate. If they don’t deliver they will refund you.
What’s the exact model (ram, disk) and datacenter? Many SYS-1 are show with low availability in the API.
You gotta be patient sometimes.
If your stance is this provider is in my banned books for not delivering when I want, you will need to shell more $$$$
Its usually oversold a bit and from the looks you may be at the tail end.
Best to get a new provider as you will be surprised how the support responds in their own sweet time sometimes and you may end up loosing trillions

I purchased a Sys-1 Dedicated Server. The HDD in it is around 4 years old. Is there any issue with the HDD? Also, I’m getting a 1Gbps speed – the speed seems fine.
It will be fine. These are DC disks with a long MTBF. I think they have a 5 years warranty.

Those drives are old as hell. You need to open a ticket with OVH through the API and keep spamming tickets till they give you brand new drives. If you got a brand new server, it needs to have brand new drives, am I right babe?

SYS range has hardware up to 7 years old.
In Kimsufi I have 10 years HDDs, works fine.
Has anyone recently ordered the KS-1? How much HDD does it have? Because in the API, the availability for 2x2TB is the same as for 4x2TB, even though 4x2TB isn't listed in the catalog.
