Got an email yesterday, talking about need of restart because of some important maintenance.
The restart is expected to happen approx. 1 hour after delivery of the email.
Now 12 hours later, VPS still down - started via control panel - all fine.
Don't care about it, it's not needed all the time.
But did anyone else get this email and did your VPS automatically restart afterwards?

Everything is fine here.
It would be good to have some more information so as not to cause a general panic.
Is it on hetzner platform?
In my case, vps with ips 5.231.x.x , out of hetzner platform, everything fine and without interruptions
Haven't had any reports on servers that didn't start themselves after the restart. I did check verify that servers were booting as intended, though not every single one.
If it were already shutdown prior to the restart then that might be why.
It's 7950X3D, don't think it's Hetzner
It was running for months, noticed email yesterday, soon after it went down.
Saw it was down today still.
I was just asking, no need to panic, I was interested about others experience
did, shut my vm down and started it back up the next morning
cant complain, should complain to get free ressources but dont need them
all i want is hostbrr not to deadpool, thats all
